New to the area and a hankering for a burger. Walking in, seemed like a pleasant place to try. Sat down, our waitress, whose name I didn’t catch (05/11 she was wearing a blue tank top) asked for our drinks. We weren’t ready to order yet and told her we needed a few minutes. A few minutes seemed like it turned into a half hour. I ordered a sangria and my boyfriend order a beer in a bottle. So nothing you really have to craft. It took FOREVER to get our drinks. Now I don’t know if the bar was backed up, mind you (not too busy) or if our waitress forgot we existed. She was here, there, and everywhere else EXCEPT our table. When she finally decided to make her arrival my boyfriend had to ask her about our drinks and she just said “oh let me go get them.” Great. Thanks. Food came out in a pretty decent time. However, I was very unpleased with my whiskey burger. I ordered a medium well burger and got well done and my bun felt like it was still in the refrigerator. I ate my burger as I was hungry but I was extremely dissatisfied and that’s the most frustrating part of it all. The garlic Parmesan fries were not hot, more like lukewarm. We will not be back.

We ordered to go. Expect a 5-10 minute wait at the front door. Make sure to check your bags. I remembered my child’s apple juice before driving off and they got it for me, however, I didn’t remember to check for the several sauces I paid extra for, so I didn’t get them. The honey hot wings weren’t bad. The kids “chicken strips” are the picture I added. I understand that things are difficult for the food industry since COVID, but at least have the decency to properly advertise your food. In case you’re curious to the difference: “Unlike chicken nuggets which are made using a ground mixture of pieces of chicken meat, fried chicken tenders and chicken strips are made directly from chicken tenderloins, which are located just beneath the chicken breast.” The multiple typos on the menu should have been my first red flag. I don’t want my 6 dollars back. I think its important to tip even when stuff like this happens. I don’t plan on patronizing this business again. I only want two things; please accurately advertise your food products, and please correct the numerous spelling errors in your chow now profile. Best of luck! You’re going to need it.

Every time we've eaten there in the last year - at least 5-6 times because my son's girlfriend has celiac and we're limited and she can get plain chicken and salad here- our order is always messed up. And we don't have anything complicated. Dine in service is spotty at best and this time with take out, my son ordered us 2 REUBENS (just add some thousand island to the damned sandwich, it's done all the time). Not only did that not happen, it wasn't even served on the proper bread. The entire order was wrong. We ordered a side of jalapeño aioli which they put down as "sauce on the side". When I called to let them know the order was wrong, she said I asked for the dressing on the side. Even if I had, I still didn't get the dressing. Still wrong. The cheese isn't melted either. The only thing they managed was the no mustard. Joy. Save your money. The BBQ restaurant, the new sushi place and Stillery in Norterra are way better. This place has gone down hill in the last 2 years and I don't think it's because of the pandemic. They offered to remake it but I don't need another abomination that will waste more time out of my day to go get.

Suggest ordering to their strengths, Burger and beer. I had the Mediterranean burger and ordered it medium rare and they were spot on! It was a really good burger. We also had the green bean fries which were tasty, crisp and delivered hot. I might like a little lighter batter but that wasn’t a show stopper on this. We also had the garlic Parmesan fries, very good. A little lite on the Parmesan but LOTS of garlic. I ordered a patron margarita which I didn’t really care for. Couldn’t taste the tequila because of the too strong mix and/or lime flavor. We ordered the ahi poke and that was not something we cared for. The sever and manager noticed we didn’t eat the ahi and came to check to our table to see what was wrong and were nice enough to credit our bill for that dish which we weren’t expecting. We may be hard to please on that front because our favorite versions of this dish are in Hawaii. We did enjoy sitting on the patio on a very nice evening. Management may want to address one other thing related to customer service, we stood at the front waiting for a host/hostess long enough for me to go to the restroom and return with no one having approached us about seating us. One of the employees walked right by my wife without acknowledging her or saying anything about being with us soon. She just walked by out the door and started talking on the phone. Customer service is key in this kind...

We live nearby and really wanted to like this place. We gave it chance and chance again. They are always understaffed and the folks that work there aren’t great. The food is okay and the atmosphere is nice. It’s so close to home, so we really did try hard to love this place.

The last straw for me was when our server who barley checked on us at all was extremely rude to my entire family and I and then overcharged our bill and refused to fix it. We just couldn’t go back after that. I haven’t been back since and I’ll tell everyone who will listen to stay away.

One specific example was when my daughter asked for all flats with her chicken wings. The server told me that it would be an additional charge of half the price of the entire batch of wings! We had never had this come up before. So, whatever, we agreed. The server brought out her wings and they were NOT all flats! I told the server it was no big deal, but that she can’t charge me the insane extra charge for all flats, because that’s not what they gave us. She refused to take it off of my bill!

It might sound dramatic, but I felt like Tru Burger stole from me. Again, it’s a bummer because even though I had issues in the past, we kept coming back given how close it is. We will never come back because of serval instances such as the one above. They are very disappointing on...

Very sad Tru Burger just lost over 2-year customers! My husband and I took my mom, who was visiting from out of town, and had such a terrible experience without even sitting down. My mom and husband both have a medical exemption from wearing a face covering and I had forgotten to bring mine. We walked in and were greeted by the host (the manager) who went to go prep our table. Mind you, she never once asked us if we had masks when we entered. Once coming back and grabbing our menus, she then asked if we had masks. Our table that she had just prepped was about 4 steps away. We said that we didn’t have masks and her response was well I can’t seat you. We asked if masks would be required while seated and she said that they wouldn’t but had to wear the mask to our table. Ok, I get following local mandates, but there has to be some common sense involved when running a business, right?! If she had simply said we needed to wear masks upon entering in, then I get that's their policy; but, she wasted our time and prepped our table knowing that we didn't have them on. We were literally less than 6 ft from the table and she said that she had to refuse us. Sorry, but we will gladly take our business elsewhere! No more tru...
