Normally I say kindness costs you nothing but in the is line of business it does. The waitress working on 7/3 was not only terrible, but shockingly rude. The computer system went down, and if I would have known what was going to happen before we checked out, I would have just left the bill there during the 30 or so minutes she was no where to be found. Frankly, I think you still owe us all a refund for the experience and how we were treated.
I get inconveniences happen at work, I get this industry, because I’ve worked in it so I feel pretty confident in saying that even though a computer system is down, it doesn’t entitle someone who’s WORKING to be flat out rude to customers. If this place was my responsibility, she’d be fired and replaced with one of the many other people who could use a job, and do it competently.
My friend, who was here on a break from the military waited for 20+ minutes, patiently, until he was not only refused services, but yelled at by the waitress when he calmly asked her why… if that was the case and she couldn’t sell anything did she JUST SERVE the man next to him. I heard her yelling at my friend from across the bar! I was shocked. “I told you already the computers are down, I served him because he hadn’t ordered anything yet… etc etc”. We are a group of people from out of state who just came in for a quick bite and to catch up. None of us caused her any problems, were disrespectful or even difficult!
She then dropped off the bill, with the drink with a half hearted apology, not even directed towards the person in our group who she made a scene towards!
What an embarrassment to not only us, your establishment. None of that even should...
Read moreUsually I don't leave a bad review, but I felt compelled to speak my mind. I'd like to start off by saying when I was seated I had to wipe the food off my booth so we could sit down the floor under the table was covered in food and the table itself was sticky. Our server was a young lady who wasn't very knowledgeable with drink selection, though she tried her best. My friend and I each ordered a ribeye steak dinner with baked potato i had the clam chowder he went with the steamed veggies. Let me start by saying the baked potato was the star of the show. Absolutely delicious. We got it loaded with sour cream cheese, chives and bacon. I would highly recommend! On the other hand our steaks were not the cut that we ordered. They were New York strip steaks when we asked for ribeyes and we also ordered an add-on of bacon-wrapped prawns which was not added to the order and brought 15 minutes after our food arrived. The bacon are wrapped around the prawn was extremely hard. Would not recommend. My daughters ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with fries which came with a bag of cookies for dessert they weren't too disappointed I'm extremely grateful for the what I would feel is night manager possibly as we left my friend forgot his Oakley sunglasses and she ran them out to the car which was a definite plus. Kudos to her. All in all probably wouldn't go back or recommend stopping here for steak.Possibly It was just a bad night for them or the younger staff hadn't been properly trained. Either way this...
Read moreI've eaten at Buzz Inn Steakhouse restaurants countless times throughout my life and I've mostly been satisfied with the food. Except for this morning. The hotel I'm staying at, is next door and I wanted something more filling in my stomach so I called & ordered the "Logger's Special" to pick up. I almost never complain about my food unless it's just horrible. Paying the $13.49 for this meal is fine, because it's good and their hash browns are USUALLY plentiful. NOT TODAY!!! I called and informed the same gal who took my order and she said no problem she'd have another one waiting for me to come back and grab(hash browns only)... I did and I'll tell ya this much, it's the same size as the first was and both combined don't equal half of the amount that was on my plate 2 nights ago when I ate it in the bar. One ketchup packet would be enough to saturate all of the hash. Pathetic. To top it all off, hotel guests are supposed to get a 10% discount yet I didn't but instead I did get charged a 25% "to go fee" but in case I did get my discount, that'd mean that my "to go fee" was 40% I still gave her a $20 and left the rest as a tip(20%) "To go fee" ?? Eat in the restaurant and there's no fee for a to go box. Get food to go and save them the cleaning of your table and dishes after you leave, yet get a ridiculous "fee"... SMH Buzz Inn Steakhouse, you can do better than this. I guess time will tell, whether or...
