Donut Palace — Restaurant in Arlington

I used to come here all the time when I went to Boles Jr High. I have a lot of core memories here. The owner and his wife were always so nice! I dropped by this morning with two of my friends and our children and was saddened by the service we received. The moment we walked through the door, the young girl behind the counter made us feel like we were an inconvenience to her. None of our sausage rolls were heated and when we went back inside and asked nicely for them to be warmed, her attitude was very unpleasant. used to love this place but unfortunately...

Very nice family-owned donut and sausage roll establishment, with coffee and assorted breakfast drinks to complement. The donut decorations are a big attraction - my grandkids love the creative faces, unicorns, and pop culture icons expertly crafted on the variously shaped pastries. The staff is friendly and helpful, and four or five small tables are available for breakfasting in. It has become a staple for grandkid slumber parties....

Stopped by during lunch and to my surprise the availability of many different donuts was more than I have ever seen at other places during that time of day. Most other places are sold out by 10:00am. The lady behind the counter was extremely nice and she switched out the characters for me on two of the donuts without hesitation. Will definitely...
