Ramunto's Brick Oven Pizza — Restaurant in Arlington

Called to place an order. Their answering system directed us to use a third party app, so we did, against our better judgement. The app said food would be ready in 30-40 minutes. After nearly an hour, the food wasn't out yet so I asked if it was ready.

The person working there said they hadn't made it at all because nobody had noticed the order from the third-party app. They just ... forgot (?) to check for orders ... in the ordering system they want customers to use. Incredible.

They didn't really offer any compensation - just to start making the food or to do a refund. Frustrating, but whatever.

So she apologizes and says the food can be ready in 15 minutes. A little over 15 minutes later, the food is ready - yay! But they still forgot to make the salad.

After more than an hour and a half, they've made the salad and we finally have all our food. You would expect, given an experience like that, they might offer to throw something in for free or offer at least a partial refund. Nope. Full price, sorry your experience sucked.

So we get home and, voila! We paid for chicken on the salad, but it has pulled a disappearing act, along with the salad dressing. I guess it was too much to ask to get a complete salad.

It doesn't really matter how good the food is (it was OK - pretty average for a pizza chain) if it's like pulling teeth to get them to actually make it for you and they still fail to give you everything you ordered.

We will never be ordering from Ramuntos in Arlington again. We got our food 40 minutes after they said it was going to be delivered, which isn’t the bad part, but they said they knocked on our doors and nobody answered. Instead of calling to make sure it’s the right house they left our food in the snow! I finally called them to make sure they knew where to go and the girl said she was going to reach out to the driver. She calls back saying he said he just left it on the back steps. Well either he lied and didn’t just leave it or they were sending us cold food because there was nothing warm about it. It was out there for a bit of time. I am so frustrated. Damn good food. I got the broccoli chicken Alfredo, minus the broccoli. Lol it was really really good. I had been wanting pasta so we decided why not try it out. It was the best Alfredo I have had. Creamy, lots of chicken, and it came with two bread knots. I wasn't the biggest fan of the knots, just too garlicky for me. But my boyfriend ordered a whole tray for himself so he didn't mind that I added two more. We are at the bar, which was kind of cool the waitress knew a lot of the people that came in by name and asked how they were. Really homey atmosphere.
