I am an active-duty military spouse and was extremely taken aback by this situation. As spouses, we endure the challenges that come with our partner’s military life choices, often facing negative career changes, lifestyle adjustments, and putting our own lives on hold for the sake of their service and our families. I even presented my military ID! Generally, businesses that offer military discounts to service members should also honor them for spouses, as these discounts are meant to recognize the sacrifices made by both service members and their families. Refusing to extend this discount to a spouse, even with proper military identification, feels discriminatory, as it disregards the significant role spouses play in supporting their partner’s service. It unfairly excludes a critical part of the military community and undermines the intention of the discount, which is to show appreciation for the sacrifices made by the entire military family. However, if the discount is being requested by a parent of a service member, businesses can refuse it unless valid proof, such as a military ID, is provided. Something to add, I just came here while my husband is deployed and needed animal love because my service animal is with him and I miss them both so much. Due to this experience it made me sad throughout the entire experience because I didn’t feel like my sacrifices mattered and I have given up everything for my husband. People who aren’t military don’t understand this and it’s so frustrating and very different from any other relationship.

This is one of the happiest places I've ever had the privilege of visiting! The cats are all SO HAPPY and interactive! Also it's CLEAN. It doesn't smell AT ALL, which is saying something!! How many shelters can make that claim? Their space is ENORMOUS, a warren of 10 rooms, all with multiple trees, shelves, and upper walkways around the room, so it seems like the cats have miles and miles of territory. I LOVE that they're focused on adult cats who need homes, although I noticed that a few kittens snuck in under the wire. ;) The owner Brandie met me at the door, and Debbie, a volunteer took me around and introduced me to every cat personally. They've already had 49 adoptions since they opened in December, so keeping all the different personalities straight is clearly a priority; knowing each cat leads to better matches and forever homes!!! There's a desk in the senior's room, a really cool feature that allows you to settle in and work all day undisturbed except by the very welcoming Mews, an orange tabby, and his lady friend Diva, a super chill bonded pair. I had the best time here and I didn't want to leave! It's a family-run business that's clearly a labor of love.

We paid $45 for 3 adults for an hour to pet and play with cats. Unfortunately we found ourselves pretty disappointed. There was a tour when we arrived and the staff member introduces the cats. There were lots of instructions in a short time to follow… don’t pet this cat here, this cat is sensitive, don’t let cats in this room they don’t get along, etc. An easy visual guide would be better, such as red bandanas on cats that are temperamental, green bandanas on friendly cats. We found most of the cats to be standoffish. Some allowed a few head pets, but most were indifferent and were not interested in toys. We went at 11am when the catfe opens, so they were not tired from other visitors. The smell from the litter room was overpowering, and there were artificial air freshener plug-ins also putting out a heavy smell. There are no windows, so no natural light or ventilation. We know cats will be cats and they don’t always want to be affectionate! For the money though, go to cat cafe in North Richland Hills instead! It’s never disappointed and the cats there have always been playful.

I am absolutely disgusted by my friends recent visit to Cozy Cafe in Arlington on 1/20/2025. My friend was visiting for the first time, and the staff told her to wash her hands in the male single-user bathroom before her 2-hour session with the cats. She was assured by the staff that it was fine, as she was just washing her hands.

While she was inside, a male customer sees this and commented that it was the male restroom, but the staff member told him it was okay since she was just washing her hands. The male customer decided to ignore the common courtesy of waiting. He entered the bathroom while she was still inside, and instead of waiting his turn like a normal person, he lingered around her. This is again a single-user bathroom with 1 sink and 1 toilet. He then proceeded to use the toilet and undressed in front of her, leaving her feeling extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. This should have never happened!

My friend tells him off then informs the staff of what happened. The staff didn't address the situation or provide any assistance to make her fell safe. They merely stated they don't do refunds. My friend ends up saying she'll wait outside until he leaves so they give her a 1hr coupon. Later on she comes back with a friend she called to join her so she could feel more safe after the guy left. While this friend his purchasing her ticket the cashier begins saying how my friend who experienced a sexual harassment situation isn't a good friend because she wouldn't allow her friend to use the 1hr coupon. Before this comment she had plan on coming back to use the coupon to get the full 2hrs which is why she wanted to save it. The cashier was more concerned about refunds and coupons than the guy undressing himself.

This experience has completely ruined our perception of Cozy Cafe, and we will never be returning. I highly advise others to be cautious when visiting here, as this kind of behavior is unacceptable and should...

This Catfe is amazing! From the moment you walk in, you can tell this owner is in love with cats! The wall is full of cat’s names that got adopted, so I absolutely loved that personal touch that was added, showing how much each cat means to them. After sign in, you are met up with your “tour guide” for your visit. My young lady was absolutely adorable and was very informative of each cat. The way they remember everyone’s name and certain quirks about them is amazing! I hung out with all of the cats and then as I was ready to leave, I mentioned I had to get some work done and the owner showed me a room (office) that you can rent to get work done! Perfect! I rented the space for an hour and sat at the desk that had a nice fan for noise as well as keeping me cool. My office cat partner was a sweet cat named Nettie and she watched me work on my computer and then took a nap on my feet. You are given a complimentary beverage as well so I grabbed a coffee after my visit and went home, ready to come back! This Catfe is so welcoming, clean, knowledgeable and has the absolute best interest for each and every cat. I can’t wait to return to visit and get work done! Thank you so much for everything you do for those sweet babies! Thank you everyone at The Cozy Catfe! See...
