The only redeeming quality was the view and the friendly staff who were frankly a bit hands off.
However, the food and drinks were pretty horrendous. 17 dollars for a southwestern salad with a handful of Sodexo prepackaged lettuce that tasted like chemicals when you have access to beautiful local produce. Presliced cheddar jack cheese and packaged salsa. IF and I mean IF they used local produce I could have pictured it being that price but it was awful.
The nachos were nothing to write home about.
As for the drinks, they label locations of where these cocktails were rooted from and I tell you Trader Vic would have been rolling in his grave with that mai tai. No falernum, no fresh citrus, just some sweetened fake mai tai mix with overly pungent coconut rum.
The service was very much turn and burn, get everything out as soon as possible and kick the guests out. This is the definition of a tourist trap with no life and soul.
Go here for a view, not for the...
Read moreI have been going here for the last few years and this year it took a turn for the worst. The staff and management were friendly enough but the food was terrible. They have made many cuts in the quality and seemed to have raised the prices yet again. We ordered chicken nachos ($14) for the table and 1/3 of them were burnt. There was very few pieces of chicken on them and they also changed it from shredded to bigger chunks of cheese with a different recipe. They put a container of black beans in the middle which just took up space and reduced the amount of chips you get. You can't take the nucleus of nachos away! There wasn't enough cheese on them and they also omitted the gooey delicious BBQ cheese sauce they put on them in the past which made them desirable in the first place. They also changed the Cajun Chicken Tortellini to penne noodles (why?) and omitted the Route 66 burger from the menu. I give two stars instead of one because the...
Read moreFood is ok but insanely overpriced for quality, service, and serving size. $25 for a small portion of noodles that included vegetables on the menu. Received the pasta order with no veggies, and another person at my table never received his Caesar salad he ordered and was charged for. $18 for two deconstructed, very dry fish tacos. Drinks took an abnormal length of time to get, plus second round came after the food was eaten even though we ordered them before getting the meal. Two others at our table ordered mixed liquor beverages and got shandy beers instead. Finally got to checks and we asked for separate between 7. We’re told “that’s gonna be a lot harder and take longer”. As a server I understand but when you charge what you do and all of them were completely incorrect, that’s unacceptable. I get it’s a holiday weekend but that’s no reason to provide poor service and a terrible experience. Won’t be...
