Cool place right off the Ralson trail. Was really looking forward to coming here but not having a wait staff is horrible you have to leave your table and wait in line for a beer every ten minutes is ridiculous. they have a sign that says one beer per ID so you can't even get two beers. For one if you are getting one for the person who is holding down your table for the 15 mins it takes to get a beer or two you are getting two beers so you don't have to go back and wait in line for another 15 minutes... Its cool they have a couple food trucks outside. you have to order the food again away from your table (some trucks give you a pager when your food is ready so thats one nice thing) Kids running all over the place outside is pretty annoying. when I went to pay I didn't even know where to go to pay, Do I have to wait in the beer line again? Luckily I just interrupeted a bartener so I can pay... Not sure if there was already grutuity added to the bill or not since it was just on a tablet. ( my guess its already added cause the price is STUPID expensive ) How are you gonna tip a server when all they did was inconvenience you.. If this place actually gets servers I may go back but until then, there are plenty of places to go to get served. Sad because it looks so nice from the Ralston trail which I ride all the time...
Read moreErik, Jenny and the crew at the Colorado Tap House are fantastic hosts!
I recently celebrated my 60th birthday in the roomy upstairs event room, and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue! From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The spacious, inviting, and private atmosphere comfortably accommodated our party of 85 friends and family members. The team went above and beyond to make the celebration fun and memorable. They were attentive, friendly, and ensured that everyone felt well taken care of.
The selection of Colorado craft beers (Barmen - my personal favorite), Ranch Road Merlot (born in Sonoma and raised in Colorado), and specialty cocktails were outstanding, providing a diverse range to satisfy every palate.
The bartenders, Jeremy and Cole were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.
Thank you Erik, Jenny, and the Colorado Tap House staff for making my 60th birthday celebration an unforgettable experience.
I highly recommend this fantastic modern Arvada landmark to anyone looking to host a special event, or just grab a beer!
Cheers to the Colorado Tap House and the entire team for exceeding my expectations and contributing to a milestone celebration that I will...
Read moreGreat establishment that has finally got the playground issue under control! After seeing some reviews from parents who don't want to parent their kids when they are out in public, I felt emboldened to write this review. I remember the days prior to the new rules, this place was treated like a daycare for kids that served alcohol to the parents. The only problem was no one was around to care for the children. It was completely out of control and shame on the parents who unleashed their children on the rest of us as well as those who weren't patronizing the taphouse and were just trying to exercise on the path below - yeah your kids brought their mayhem down to the path as well! This is a taphouse that serves alcoholic beverages for adults. It is family friendly in that you can bring your family here so long as you control their behavior and respect the establishment, patrons, and passers by. It is really not that difficult to understand! The servers are also kind and attentitve. The food trucks have gotten...
