I ordered through Door Dash and every donut I ordered was incorrect. I spoke to an employee (7:31pm Thursday night 5/26) who was having a HORRIBLE night and thought it best to take her frustrations out on me as the customer.
She reported she gave a replacement because she did not have the donuts I ordered she actually said she only had "three donuts in the store." I'm not sure the flavors of those donuts - but I'm guessing they were not the flavors I ordered.
I asked for the manage's name and was provided "Carol." I will contact Carol and the locate the district manager tomorrow as the poor woman I spoke with was having such a horrible night, she could probably use some time off or maybe more staff in the store, I'm not sure. But she was so overwhelmed, speaking so quickly that a few times she lost her breath, it was heartbreaking to hear someone in such distress over donuts.
With the employee shortages going on now I can only imagine how overworked this employee must be, it was actually very sad to hear her frustration. It might be possible customer service is not the best line of work for her to be in because it can be so stressful and some people are just not equipped to talk to the public without getting so worked up.
Maybe "Carol" as the manager might want to have a conversation with this employee to truly find out if her working at Dunkin' Donuts is really the best fit for her. Seriously she was so completely overwhelmed--I can only imagine how she must feel under such pressure.
I did speak with Door Dash and was provided a full refund for the incorrect donuts and the gentleman at Door Dash was so kind, and understanding, never have a problem with them, great staff.
I did explain to Door Dash how overwhelmed and distraught the employee was, and the gentleman stated Door Dash would get in touch with the manager to discuss as well.
I think "Carol" might do better supporting her staff or possibly not leave someone on charge that is clearly not up to the job. It's unfair to the employee to put her in a situation where she was so completely overwhelmed.
I did read the other reviews regarding the negative customer service at this location. I'm sure the employees are not to blame, positive customer service trickles down from management, from what I've read and my experience tonight, management did not put the best candidate in a customer service position.
I also wonder, why if the store is open until 9:00, and I called at 7;30, there are only "three" donuts in the entire store?
For reputation sake, as Dunkin' Donuts usually has such great products, this store might want to shut down for just a while to retrain their employees and/or higher employees who do not get so distraught and overwhelmed when dealing in customer service.
And finally, to the poor woman I spoke with tonight who was having such a horrible night, completely overwhelmed and distraught, remember it's only donuts.
I do hope you get some rest tonight, and you have a wonderful day tomorrow. No need to worry, I will speak with "Carol" and I'm sure through Google can find someone higher than Carol to speak with about giving you a vacation PAID...
Read moreWorst breakfast I've ever had.....ordered two of the $6 meal deals this morning, my hot coffee was only supposed to have two shots of flavor but is so sweet I can't even drink it...it was also supposed to be oat milk and I'm 98% sure they used real milk, the bagels on both sandwiches were very stale, the hashbrowns were stuck together/smashed and cold even though we were fast to pick up our order, the iced coffee literally had no oatmilk in it and tastes like coffee water. Sick and tired of wasting my money and there being zero quality control with these places....never again! I hope corporate sees all of these horrible reviews this location has and does something about it once and for all.
Update: I reached out that day for a refund on my order, they offered a small credit which I did not accept so I asked for my money back. I have been emailing back and forth and have provided every single detail even a screenshot of the actual receipt from my order that included all info they would have needed, they still claim to not be able to find my account...even after giving them my account number and email used for the order. It 100% does exist but they claim it does not in order to avoid giving me a refund.....this company is beyond horrible and I recommend everyone stay far far away unless you love...

But I've been here a dozen times and not once have they gotten my order right or gotten any order to me without a terrible attitude and service. I fully put blame on the store owner / manager. Their employees are trying so hard, and putting all the effort in while still seeming to struggle and fail. The manager is sitting in the store, pulling employees away from their job to talk to them negatively about their performance while multiple people are waiting for their orders. Not helping them, not teaching them, not doing the managers job in any regard. They made my drink with water from the sink. Let me repeat that. THEY MADE MY DRINK WITH WATER FROM THE SINK... it was not only disgusting to watch, but the people making the drink don't know what they're doing. Nobody, not even whatever lead or supervisor is on shift. I've tried to just let them work out the kinks and get better, but nothing is happening over 6 weeks now I've gone here. I might say this is the worst dunkin I've been to in years... please just avoid this one. I leave nothing but 5 star reviews, hundreds of them that are deserved. But this needs to be fixed, please corporate, I hope...
