Disappointing. One member of our group remembered the Crow's Nest from a previous visit. The parking lot was full, which seemed to validate the 4.5 stars. We were immediately seated in a crowded 1950s vibe dining area. The menu card was simple American and Italian food with specials on an electric board. We ordered a mixed bag, burger special with onion rings subbed for fries for a $1 uncharged. Fried shrimp with soup instead of fries. Pork chops. Bread and salads appeared quickly. The entrees came shortly after, and that's when the thing went sideways. The server dropped shrimp off the plate. The burger had fries, not onion rings. So everything went back to the kitchen to get sorted. When the shrimpcame back she explained since the soup was subbed for fries there shouldn't have been fries but since they were out of shrimp and couldn't replace the ones that were dropped, they offered fries instead of the lost shrimp. The burger was burnt, which was good because without any seasoning, the burnt was the only taste. The chops were dry and tasteless. Even the green beans with visible chopped garlic were tasteless. Our group now has a new memory of Crow's Nest, and it isn't good.

The Crow's Nest has wonderful food. Very tasty and their portions are worth the price. It is very reasonable to eat here. Located at the North end of OH State Route 11 and Ohio State Route 531 in Ashtabula, Ohio. It is a great place to stop and get a meal for Lunch or dinner. The service here is impeccable. The food was out fairly quick, even though it was a busy lunch hour. The waitresses were attentive. I asked for extra ranch for my salad and I got four total cups of ranch. They went above and beyond with the dressing. The food was very tasty. The ambiance is open floor plan. They have tvs to watch sports and baseball games. They also have beer and specialty drinks. For some menu examples, they have a 1/4th Pound Hot Dog, Scrod Dinners, Giant Haddock and Cod Sandwiches, wings, Italian fare and much more. A great restaurant and staff! A wonderful place to eat with family or friends, play KENO and watch some sports. This place had decent service when my family and I ate here 20 years ago, when we lived in the area. A+ grade.

First time here. We came with a group of twelve. A local told us that this was one of the nice restaurants with a large and diverse menu. Got seated right away. Our serve did a great job, dealing with all the different questions and requests. (thanks Ronna) The beverages and the food came out, plenty chilled, or good and hot. Got an assortment of sandwiches, pizza, wings, and pastas. The portions were good, along with the prices. Most people thought it was good, but not great. Personally I thought the fresh cut fries were mediocre. Better than bar food, but wouldn't make the drive from Conneaut if we were looking for a similar meal.

I do not recommend this place if you want good food, and better service, I'm a big eater so my menu items are normally double I currently am in this place and let me tell you if you want service make sure "tayla" doesn't have a table group showing up you will be ignored, sad part is i probably would have tipped more than the 18 top she was sooo worried about.. however there was a server that didn't have too but helped me from time to time even though I wasn't hers to wait on. I did not get her name but she is a good one, just not tayla. I ordered the chicken fetacinni Alfredo, and the crow burger meal, bluuck!! Oh yah dont bother telling them how to cook your meat, ask for well and it was bloody...however couldnt bring it to anyone's attention cause she was to worried about the 18 top table that mind you still wasn't there, anyway chicken fetacinni Alfredo the chicken was smashed and seemed to be the cheapest piece of meat from a frozen food truck, the Alfredo had zero flavor and was watery most likely from the same truck that had the chicken. The crow burger looked good but ill be 🤮 asked for well and got bloody fries were freezer burnt and room temp I couldn't even mask with salt. But again can't get my waitress to stop worrying about a table that still hadn't shown up this girl she be ashamed. All in all if you want good food I passed a burger king on the way heck I passed a few dumpsters that probably had better food and would have had better service from the critters that live in those dumpsters. I will not be back i will not recommend this place and I definitely am going to...

This place is much loved around the area as it has been in operation as long as I can remember. It's a great place to watch Cleveland sports, as there are plenty of TVs to show you all the action. The whole place has a 60s/70s feel to it. I really liked that. Service wasn't super fast. But that's ok because the place was packed. Our server was effective and as prompt as was possible. This was my first visit to the Crow's Nest and I had heard glowing reviews on the food and drink so I was excited to try it for myself. For openers my wife and I had drinks. I had a 7 and 7 and it was standard. My wife had a frozen margarita and she didn't even finish it as it was flavorless and the worst she had ever had. I ordered an appetizer of fried clam strips and they were simply of the frozen variety and were less than palatable. For an entre I had the fried walleye special which came with fries and salad. Sadly, it was all not very good. Salad was tiny, just a thin layer of lettuce and a slice of onion and a few croutons. The fries were terrible, old and not pleasant tasting and I left them on my plate. The walleye was not delicious and was over cooked. My wife had the stuffed shells which she did not like. The shells were kind of hard and rubbery. Best part of the meal were the thick slices of Italian bread that were brought to the table. Very good! All in all the freshness of the ingredients is sorely missing. All of this cost 67 dollars with tip and I would not call that a good value. Would I return? ...
