Food was great fries were awesome burger fantastic!! Kudos to the chef!! On that note. The service was terrible. Our waiter had a horrible attitude, didnt check on us once and only focused on a table of underage girls. Really was uncomfortable. Ended up going outside to be more comfortable. The guy was a total creep! Extremely unprofessional.All this wouldn't have been a problem! The worst was When i asked how much the burger was. The guy flipped. Said that we were accusing him of ripping us off. Which was not the case. I told him let me go ahead and pay. He made a huge deal went and got the reciebt. Made it a pain and even more uncomfortable to pay. Even took it as far to make fun and say why dont i go get a calculator when i was putting my card in the machine. We live next to Steeps and order takeout or eat there very often. The veggie power bowl with shrimp or mahi mahi is one of the best meals I've ever had. Same with the harvest salad. My children love the BBQ sliders and pizza. The menu is a combination between comfort food (wings, burgers, tacos, fries) and healthy salads/power bowls. Don't order the gumbo, it's the only thing that's not good. The service lacks because there's normally one person working as a server and bartender, but the food always arrives fast and is very affordable for Aspen. This is the only place we can afford to eat as a family of 4, everything in town has become unbelievably expensive. The kids menu is $9. The kids can share one portion or pizza. I had a very disappointing experience. The food was incredibly expensive, which would have been fine if the service matched the price. Unfortunately, it did not. My friend requested water several times, but the server never brought it. The receipt listed a 30% tip as the first option, which my friend didn't feel comfortable with due to the poor service. The waiter made a rude comment about not getting tipped. My friend even went to the bank to get cash and left $20. As we were walking to our car, the waiter came out and shouted at us, asking if there was anything wrong with the service because of the tip we left. This made us feel very uncomfortable.
