I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chef Gregory’s BBQ Emporium in Atascadero, and I was thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. As someone who’s always dreamed of trying new places around town, this visit felt extra special—and it definitely didn’t disappoint.
From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The interior was clean and stylish, creating the perfect vibe for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. The staff greeted me with a smile and provided excellent service throughout, staying attentive without being overbearing.
I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of smokiness and seasoning. It was served on a fresh, soft bun that held everything together perfectly. Each bite was packed with flavor, and the portion size was generous without being overwhelming.
Exploring new restaurants in Atascadero has always been something I looked forward to, and Chef Gregory’s BBQ Emporium reminded me exactly why. Whether you’re grabbing a bite for lunch or enjoying a nice dinner out, I’d highly recommend this place. It offers great food, a welcoming environment, and service that makes you feel like a valued guest. I’ll...
Read moreJust finished my meal of Ribs and smoked Pork Belly, both Porker size with a side of beans and slaw. Picked it up in person, lovely owners, fun to meet, and fed my w wife and teen comfortably. Absolutely delish, it was almost gone when I realized I was in a state of culinary theta brain wave zen. Thank you chef and partner! Details of your interested: I sat it down on the coffee table and picked up the guitar to get some riffs out of my head. Eventually my wife looked up and smiled “yum, it smells so good” and I could smell it from across the room. The riffs on my guitar sounded good. I washed my hands, called my son and he heard me from his soundproof room. He came and I told him we’d share. Didn’t seem right to leave him out. Ferris Buhler was playing on tv. The kid even said thank you before absconding back into his room. Now my wife is feeding me chocolates, and I’m still licking up the rest of the barbecue sauce. Mmmm, I just can’t stop. Tomorrow tri-tip? Does the menu change, chicken? My mind wonders off...
Read moreStopped in for my first time this evening and put together a little sampler. The storefront is a little spars with minimal seating inside and out. My order including 4 oz of Ribs, a 7 oz Chicken Breast, 4 oz of Pork Belly, and a couple of pieces of corn bread. All of the plates came with Beans and Cole Slaw (which I didn't take as I'm generally not a fan of Slaw) Over all the food was good to very good. I thought the ribs were a little dry but had great flavor. The chicken breast was outstanding, moist and flavorful. The Pork Belly was delicious and almost like candy. I thought the bean were great, full of ham and flavor and the corn bread was more the consistency of cake but also delicious! In All, I have to concur with Chef Gregory the food is definitely 5 star!...
