Interesting place. Not a traditional Jewish deli as they are missing a lot of items one would expect . Having said that- we had a Ruben sandwich - flavors were there but the bread choice was not great- marble rye would have been better- The meat was not done right either- stacked and not shaved or sliced thin. Thick and chewy. BUT... The knish OMG! Fabulous! Tasty pastry , caramelized onions, good flavor over all. And only $6. Served warm and YUM! Seriously, Yummy! Also, had the smoked white fish sandwich. It was pretty good too- The fish could use a little more smoke flavor But it was good. The bagels are made there and fresh, soft and really tasty too. The slaw was too chunky and not blended enough with the dressing. They could offer some sort of bagged chips to go with the sandwiches. And it is noisy in there we could not hear each other. But over all I gave them 4 stars and would...
Read moreI think we came on an off day. The NY stacked pastrami was hands down not only the worst pastrami sandwich, but worst sandwich of any kind I have attempted to eat. It was NOT sliced and stacked but was chunks of pastrami that was more fat than meat. We ended up eating a mustard sandwich as 75% of the ‘meat’ was fat. No cheese, no slaw. Just fatty chunks of pastrami and TONS of mustard. FOR $20 that was a rip off. Never order the pastrami sandwich from this establishment. Too bad, was really wanting to have a great experience. If you want a real Jewish deli, go to Lovi’s...
Read moreGot the Lox bagel and despite the bagel itself being great, they put far too much pickled salmon on it. Far too salty and spiked my blood pressure like nothing else. It was good, but it'd be fantastic if they just eased up on the salmon, plus they'd also be able to charge less (which is another problem, a small coffee is like $4 and it's somehow even weaker than diner coffee). Another thing, the staff are so busy that one time it took them like 5 minutes to get to me when there wasn't a line. All in all, the food's good, but everything else has room for...
