First time ever eating here and just had a horrible experience! My husband and I ordered the following: (Husband) Shrimp/Chicken Entree Spring Rolls
(Me) Salmon Salad Miso Soup
My husband drove to pick it up as soon as I hung up the phone to place our order. When he brought the food back, his entree was lukewarm (some pieces were completely cold and some not far behind). My soup was very cold. So I called to complain and asked to have someone bring back a new order. The manager, Alden, explained that they only had one driver; so, he instead put me on the list for one free entree and miso soup. But one thing that appalled me was when he said, "They must have forgotten to put the soup in the microwave. But that is still no excuse." I didn't even know what to say to that... So basically, the food they serve there is not fresh at all (considering the asian store is their next door neighbor).
A couple minutes later I finally sat down for my salad. It was good at first... But as I got farther in, I realized the lettuce was brown, soggy, and watery. So, I called in again... This time I asked for a full refund and to just drop the free stuff because our entire meal was a disaster and we weren't coming back. I also explained that I have health problems and I am too afraid to even touch the Salmon. Alden told me that he would only refund me the salad, and the salmon should fine. That all the food should have been fine because it was all cooked and brought out at the same time. I told him that I just feel like the food was just zapped in the microwave and then thrown into boxes (for obvious reasons). He denied such things and then said, "I understand you don't like our food. That is fine and your choice." I told him that was an unnecessary comment because the food was just cold and old. So I then asked again for a full refund. But said he would only refund the salad because my husband already ate the entree. I told him we weren't given a choice because we couldn't be compensated the way we needed to be. But, again denied me. Read moreI normally never have any issues when me & my boyfriend eat here. I am so upset because I did not take photos as I normally do. I went to choo choos the other night & I ordered a chicken & shrimp entree along with another chicken entree. I had no reason to suspect that their would be an issue. As I was eating, I noticed the chicken was extremely chewy. I spit it out & noticed that the chicken was still raw. I immediately contacted choo choos & was told to bring the food in next day as I had already made it to my destination. My boyfriend almost finished his meal, but also stopped because he began to feel sick. He eventually started to throw up & could not stop. I took the food back to choo choos as instructed & when I arrived, they signaled someone to come handle the issue, because as it was stated when I arrived “there she is. The one with the ….” Which is all I gathered. I knew there would be an issue. They took the food from me then huddled in the back to discuss the food. An Asian worker, male, came out to let me know that he would only give me a partial refund due to the chicken & shrimp entree being “almost done”. I immediately became disheveled because I didn’t account for my chicken to not be done & my significant other to become sick from poor quality food being pushed out of there establishment. That was improper, especially when I was quoted a full refund & did what I was instructed to do. I will NEVER eat here again & I advise whoever is reading this review to do the same. I will be reporting this issue to higher authorities because they did not handle this situation properly when I am not expecting to purchase RAW FOOD!! Clearly the process/preparation is poor for us to be sick from this & also discovering RAW CHICKEN. They do give names so that they may be held accountable. They just do not care at all & I really do not appreciate the experience I had. So much so I had to come & write a review. I'm more inclined to leave a review of one of my favorite places in town because this time I had it with them. I've been a regular for a long time (3+ years now), I lived by the mall awhile ago & would place orders here for pickup b/c I loved the Chicken Teriyaki entrée!! Loved the coupon deals they offer! Now that I live down the street from them & get to order & pickup/delivered when I want, I can't get 100% satisfaction, smh. Ordered my usual today, used the 50% off coupon. Pull up @ drive thru & I was asked if I had a coupon (thank you by the way) but then she didn't bother to read it. She asked me what I wanted to drink cuz it came with a drink. I said, no it doesn't & she said yes it does u didn't order it when u placed the order. Kind of in a silly way. I said, fine u don't want to read it so I won't say more. Asked for a sprite. Noticed an extra small plate for sides. I said to myself ok, the sauces for the 2 entrées. Get home & I have no veggies in my tray & the extra small plate is more chicken! I called & gentleman on the phone explained my order was mixed up but I could return & they would fix it. I was like but why should I put clothes back on, & head ur way when I'm already home & the sky is gonna fall out again? He didn't offer to deliver, didnt offer to do anything extra for next time.....NOTHING! So I felt like they had no regard for my loyalty as a customer.
