La Michoacana Antojitos Mexicanos — Restaurant in Athens-Clarke County Unified Government

The only reason why I have one star is because I can’t put none…..the family and I usually travel from Commerce to Athens just for this place even though it sometimes smells bad the mangonadas made up for it..but not this LAST visit.. Aside from the fact that the nachos were stale, their customer service is horrible! LAZY KEVIN told us with an attitude that the blender was broken..and could not do any milkshakes but when a buddy of his came by ..the poor broken blender had a miraculous turn and IT WORKED…over all LAZY KEVIN!! We were in line and when his friends came in, he jumped half of my family that was waiting to order and attended his friends first. His sour attitude and customer favoritism makes this place look worse than that one rat they found here...

I ordered what was supposed to be a Dubai chocolate dessert, and they had the audacity to use Nutella instead! Not only was that misleading, but the strawberries were stale and tasted like they had been sitting around for days. And to top it all off, the so-called kataifi pastry which, honestly, felt more like a garnish than anything was barely there! Just a tiny amount on top, and it did nothing for the dish. When I asked the lady if the kataifi was supposed to be layered or spread throughout the dessert, like it should have been, she said no in a very dismissive tone, which just made things worse. I was expecting something much better, especially for the price. This is not what I paid for. I do not recommend...

Walked into this spot not knowing what to expect, and I left very happy (and very full). 🍽️ The lady behind the counter was incredibly positive and helpful—since it was my first time, I just told her my general preferences, and she worked her magic to pick the perfect meal for me.

The food? Delicious. The shake? Absolutely on point. 🥤 And the vibe? So fun! The Spanish-style music had me tapping my feet the whole time—I almost broke out into a dance, but I figured I’d spare everyone. 💃😂

Prices were solid, the bathroom was clean (major bonus), and the whole experience was just awesome. Definitely...
