I seriously cannot recommend Sofia more highly!!!🤍 I came here for alterations of my bridesmaid dress, which came in the mail fitting perfectly yet only a few days before the wedding it was suddenly loose on my waist and hips. I immediately contacted the boutique and spoke to Sofia about my situation, and even while helping many clients in the store, she gave me her personal number to continue communicating on what would be possible as it was a rush. I told her I knew how little time we had to work with so that I was only looking for alterations to make it fit my figure better, but hemming was not needed. Sofia was very reasonable and personable and she had me come in the next morning upon opening the store to analyze the dress. Upon inspection she pointed out to me, clearly and empathetically, how my dress was much more complicated than expected (lined areas vs no lining, multiple hems, halter correction etc.) as she described it to be six different ‘surgeries’ and that she worried she would not have enough time in the day to fit me in since she already had three or four orders due by EOD. I had already accepted my fate by that point, but just as I was about to gather my things and head out, she exclaimed “No. I’m going to do it! I can’t let you go to your wedding without you feeling good in your dress. I want to help you, I hate letting my clients down.” That alone spoke volumes of how much Sofia and her associate care about their work and their relationships with their customers. We talked about shared family heritage (shoutout to all us latinas💅🏼) and I felt very welcomed and comfortable in her hands! She thoroughly explained the cost breakdown and was so unbelievably kind about the entire rushed situation. When I went back for pickup she was finishing up working with a group of young girls, and her patience and care with them and their guardian was like she was part of their family. She fixed my bridesmaid dress perfectly and exceedingly for what I was looking for in such a tiny timeframe! Sofia is a visionary, she executes her work with precision, and she is a proud business owner & fashion designer. You will not be disappointed if you choose Sofia to help with your wedding gown! When I was searching for an alterations business to help me with my wedding gown, I was looking for someone who is passionate and detail oriented, and when I found Sofia, I knew I found "the one"! My first meeting with Sofia was awesome, she basically formed the dress on my body within an hour and explained every detail of what she was changing for the vision she had to enhance my dress, basically tailor-making it just for me! What I didn't know at the time is that I was in the very early stages of pregnancy. As soon as I found out, I called her to let her know that we needed to hold off on alterations and she did this willingly without judgement. 9 months later, and a few weeks after I had my baby, I came back to see my dress that she held without extra charge. During that time, I gained baby weight (hello motherhood!), and Sofia was moving her shop to expand to include Bridal gowns & Prom dresses along with her alterations. This could not have been more of a blessing for me! I ended up finding an even better dress at her shop! And it could be purchased off the hanger and altered immediately for my upcoming wedding 5/28/2022. WOW!! The timing was perfect. Sofia is as kind as she is talented. I cannot say enough good things about her and her work. I wore a suit to my wedding and originally brought a different one to a another alteration place in town where I felt unheard and the suit was basically ruined by their work. I found Sofia 2 weeks before my wedding and she squeezed me in, attempted to refit my old suit for 3 hours, and was honest about it's ability to be repaired and what options I had. Despite having to find a new outfit with less than 2 weeks to my wedding, I still felt at ease because I knew I was in good hands. I was impressed with her wide range of knowledge, especially since she typically works on wedding dresses. I luckily found a new suit the next day and she was able to rush alterations on it (with her own wedding anniversary and her getting sick during that timespan) and it came out absolutely perfect. She also did some minor work on the shirt I wore by adding darts in the front; it was a small detail that really enhanced the fit of the shirt. Sofia is absolutely a perfectionist!

Being a woman buying/tailoring a suit for the first time was a daunting task and I felt insecure throughout that process as it is still uncommon.
