Subway — Restaurant in Athens

I have good and bad to speak on. Let me first off say that the older gentleman Stephen is a great guy and holds the upmost service and respect for this location. He is always friendly and goes above and beyond to help the guest. Now to the bad, the younger girl who says she is a manager that worked at 10:30 am on 7/19/2023 is rude and arrogant. Me and my family frequent this location 2-3 times a week, this was our first run in with this lady and she single handed made it my last trip to this location. We have used a coupon at this location many times and she made sure to tell me I was a liar and that she didn’t care what others did at her location she wasn’t having it. Using the coupon is not the end of the world it’s how she handled it, calling her employees names and telling me she’s never seen me there so I must not be telling the truth is rude and not the way a customer should be handled. I pray she don’t handle everything in life the way she handled this situation because I could only imagine how anyone else around her is treated. Tonight (9/11/2024) after a long day I pulled in for a much needed sandwich at roughly 8PM. Entering the drive-thru I saw a hand-written sign taped to the drive-thru menu, and window reading, "Shorted Staffed, please come in!" So I parked, and approached the doors, only to find them locked in spite of the schedule detailed on the doors claiming the location closed at 9PM. Having seen two female employees inside while pulling into the drive-thru, I walk around to the drive-thru window in hopes of answers. Upon reaching it, I see both employees squatting behind the counter as if hiding. When they see me they rise, and inform me they are closed. I point out the schedule on the door, and am informed their lobby closes at 8, and normally they remain open through the drive-thru as they use this time to clean.

Tired and hungry I had to drive across town to get my sandwich. When I previously worked at a different Subway location this policy did not exist, and the behavior of these young ladies left me suspicious of misconduct.

If i could rate it 0 stars i would. On September 16th, 2024, One female employee laughed while me and my girlfriend walked inside the restaurant. I was asked for our order and upon making it, she carelessly threw the bacon on and every single piece was right in the middle. She put so much cheese on my sub that it was the only thing i could taste. To top it all off. When my girlfriend had been rang up for her whole meal, the total was $10. After my girlfriend paid. I handed her my coupon for my meal. I had the get a free bag of chips when you buy a footlong sub coupon. After she rang me up for my sub and chips, she charged me $15 dollars for the sandwich AND the chips DESPITE the fact that my girlfriends WHOLE meal with a footlong, chips, and drink being $10. I wouldnt come here again until those two girls are either...
