Just WOW!!! A culinary experience worth having. As a Liberian who has moved away from eating our traditional home dishes for many years, I was not really excited when I was invited to give Chauncy's Kitchen a try. But....let me say I was not ready for what came next. An explosion of culinary magic with what I would call Liberian fusion. You can tell just from the presentation that he is passionate about what he does. His level of creativity with the twist on traditional Liberian dishes is unmatched. Every bite was mouth watering, from cassava leaf dip with cassava( yuca) parmesan fries to the sweet ginger plantains. The fufu tacos are amazing, the palm butter wings are incredible and jollof rice...OMG! This is not a fast food experience (fresh made to order) so you will need to exercise patience but it is certainly worth the wait. The seasonings are carefully chosen and wakes up every taste bud. I was left speechless with an occasional hmmmmm.. I am in awe of his culinary gifts, talents and ability to transform our favorite Liberian dishes into culinary masterpieces. Coming from a skeptic, this is a must try for anyone and everyone who wants to experience something new.. Thanks Chef for a wonderful experience. May God continue to bless the work of your hands and may the world come to...
Read moreI am a huge fan of a local pop up Seoul Chikin Atl…for some reason this kitchen is tied to an IMPOSTER of the Seoul Chikin pop up that is so popular here in Atlanta. I believe it’s a ghost kitchen serving Korean fried chicken. That streak money. I have ordered food from this place under that name THINKING it was the REAL Seoul Chikin Atl but it’s 1000% not the same restaurant. The food arrived 2 hours late and it was basically DOG FOOD. I had friends order and the food never even came. No refund. Nothing. They just took their money.
The phone number for this caterer is the same for the place serving people the worst Korean Fried chicken I’ve ever had. It’s impossible to even leave a Google review for this ghost kitchen misrepresenting one of Atlanta favorite pop up restaurants.
DO NOT ORDER from this place. There is only one Seoul Chikin in Atlanta that matters and they don’t deliver on ANY delivery service. It’s Em easy to see if you do a Google search. The REAL Seoul Chikin Atl is highly rated and she obviously a local pop up. The other is on delivery services and the review are TERRIBLE.

Read moreI visited Chauncey’s Kitchen for the first time today and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I placed an order for the collard green stew around 3:50 pm and was told it would be ready by 5 pm. I was asked to leave my phone number, and they assured me they would call when the meal was finished.
By 5:45 pm, I decided to drive back to the restaurant. The owner then told me the food would take another two hours, but he said he would personally deliver it to me. Later, around 7:35 pm, I received a call from the waitress saying my order would be ready at 8:11 pm and that I would receive free wings and a lemonade for the inconvenience.
I arrived at 8:10 pm, only to be told, “Sorry, do you want to order something else?” When I asked about the collard green stew, she said she didn’t know what happened. I was told I would be refunded, and she offered a free pasta dish instead. At that point, I was frustrated — my time from 4 pm to 8 pm had been wasted, the chef never came out to explain the situation, and the wings and lemonade they promised were never mentioned again.
Overall, it was not a good...
