The Handle Bar — Restaurant in Atwater

Small town bar with a urban rustic vibe. The food is delicious and they are willing to make accommodations to their menu items if necessary. (As a vegetarian stranded on the prairie this is welcoming!) The staff was friendly and efficient with taking drink orders. For those special named shots and mixed drinks if they don’t know how to make your mixed drink they will gladly look it up. I definitely recommend making a stop when passing through Atwater, MN. Motorcycles, hunters, lake crew, and party buses welcome. You can use the touchtunes jukebox in the pool and dart side of the bar has a stage for a dj or live band isn’t playing. Big screen TVs to watch sporting events or news. The outdoor patio in the back is a relaxing place to sit outside and drink...

Small town bar/dive.... In a good way... One of my favorite places for Burgers... They have the standards... And they have some special ones too... My favorite is the carb cleaner Burger... Flavorful and spicy.. with crinkle cut fries... So good... Enjoyed with any cold beer.. The cook is consistent and food is always delicious when I stop in... There is always room for improvement....so 4 stars is good...

Waited 45 minutes and still no food. Ordered mozzarella stick and they never showed up. Seems like that would be the easy part. After an hour we left without any food. Disappointed to say the least 0/10

Also it turns out they never even put in our order after the 45 minutes just wasted in the slew they call an establishment. Just a scam bar to get you to drink...
