My family and I went to this Dairy Queen like we usually do after our quarter auction. When we arrived and then ordered our food the guy behind the counter told us that it would be A FULL WAIT TIME, because we came after 8:00pm. What is a full wait time anyways? Hey, sorry your gonna be waiting full time for your food, seriously? When we did get our food as the guy was handing it out he said the wrong orders, so as we started to explain that our orders were wrong he started to get an attitude. I ordered a six piece chicken finger with a side of cheese curds, and my aunt ordered a four piece chicken finger with fries. They switched up our orders, and then didn’t give me the right order of chicken fingers. He then told us just to switch our food and it would all be ok. Then my mother said that her burger was not warm at all. Even though they repeatedly told us the food was made to order, but the last time we came here the food was so hot that we couldn’t even eat it. So where they pulled that made to order out of was ridiculous. The guy who talked to us had a terrible horrendous attitude and did not know how to communicate with customers. Then he asked if we wanted to see the manager, we said that’s ok we will just finish and go. We then decided that yeah we should talk to the manger. We asked a sweet girl cleaning up tables to get the manager for us. When she got to the table she explained that the employee had said something to her about what happened, and said she would take care of him. My mother explained what happened and everything, and she was still rude. My mother said her burger was cold and the manger said it has been sitting right? But the food had just come up and again they continued to say it was made to order. So the manager just offered us a refund, no apology and then couldn’t count the right change. So I guess they have some counting issues? And no customer service. Then on top of it my grandmother came in to order a drink and three of the employees at the counter looked right at her and then ignored her. They even gave us the receipt which had the right order. They also handed out the wrong orders to everyone. I recommend some customer service training. I would check on them grills because, our food...
Read moreI used to LOVE the DQ but it seems like they take everything that is good off the menu for 1. For 2 the customer service is awful, it's ran by all teenagers as to be expected, but still, where r the managers telling them what for. 3rd for the price of the food there, what you get is NOT and I mean NOT worth it. The only good thing there is the ice cream. And it's only good if that's all your getting because if u order food they will make the ice cream first and let it melt while you wait in the drive through for an hour and then your food is not even made right or done well. I tried again tonight just because it was easy and I got a flamethrower burger and they didn't even put lettuce or tomato and barley any flame sauce. Like common DQ 30 bucks to feed 2 people and soggy buns and not even made right like what the hell man. Not cool. Management needs to seriously take the reins and fix the quality management. We’ve been going to virden, which isn’t convenient, but at least they greet you when you pull up and ice cream isn’t slopped all down the cup when I order in the drive thru. Every time. We always order extra toppings, and It’s a 50/50 shot whether or not you get it. They never say sorry, thank you, you’re welcome, or smile. I get it, the employees don’t want to be there. You’ve made it more than clear you don’t want to be. We’ve called to complain, the manager has never seem too worried about it. I guess they figure they’re the only place in town. I’ll keep driving 5 miles to the next town for it. We don’t get to eat like this on a regular basis, so for us, it’s definitely a treat.
