My family and I have been patrons for years, having visited countless times at various locations. Tonight was the worst experience I’ve had to date. I ordered four kid’s one-egg breakfasts in addition to my meal. After the order was taken, the cook immediately walked to the back and was nowhere to be found for quite some time. Our waitress ended up cooking our food. When my childrens’ plates were brought, it was only one egg each and two slices of bacon. For years now, across several different locations, I’ve always had the kids meals include toast and hashbrowns. Never did we have to ask to add that on. I brought this to the waitress’ attention, asked her to confirm with a manager (which she did not), and she was steadfast that what I received was correct and stated she got in trouble with her manager prior because she tried to serve kids meals as such. She even made the comment of “and you won’t be back” to which I agreed. The crazy part is my wife, my family, and I ate at this very location Christmas Eve and received full kids meals without questioning or additional cost.
In addition to all this, food quality was poor, slow to come, waffle was even slower to come, and, after giving us our bill, our waitress went to the back as if to avoid having to take my payment for the tab. She only reappeared after I stood at the register, ignored by the other waitress for almost 4 minutes (yes, I watched the time), but finally that waitress took my payment.
Complete lack of basic service.
UPDATE:
The district manager called me last Saturday to discuss my visit. I believe his name Rob. He apologized and confirmed: Kid’s one-egg breakfast does indeed come with toast and hash browns or grits. He graciously provided a means in which to compensate me for the 4 kids meals in which half the meals were missing and my waitress refused to correct. Rob’s positivity and acknowledgement resolves this...
Read moreWent to this Waffle House last night. I noticed the skinny caucasian server did not want to serve me and asked the young male server to take my order. I noticed she went over to another caucasian female customer and took her order. I noticed the cook making eggs and took the yolk that was dripping off into the counter back into the bowl. I noticed she didn't change her gloves as she continued to make our food. touching the bread from the toast along with the grits. I should of said something but the lack of interaction they had with me, I didn't. When I got home my mom ate her food. She immediately started throwing up. Me going against my better judgment of just canceling my order based on my treatment this happened. At this point, you can't call in to speak to anybody and apparently, I have to go up there. If I find that they purposefully mishandled my food is what led to my mother's food poisoning, I will seek legal action. If you go to this place and notice that they are treating you differently, don't take the risk of eating there. This was a hard lesson to learn. I am contacting...
Read moreLast night 12/15/2022 @around 8pm I came into this location for dinner and was told, it would be about 20min wait for food which I could understand. For there was only one cook and there was a couple of people who was also in the restaurant at the time who have already gotten there food so I thought 20mkn wait was okay at the time. As pass I look over to the grill and I could see the cook cooking food and so I waited and now it been about 1hr to 45 min now I see the night shift was starting come in and no food coming out and I gotten up to ask about our order and they said it was never been made? So I guess the cook made food for themselves and not made our? And then I gotten hangry and told the servers I was leaving since I been waiting for 1hr for my food that was not being made...but I guess this one star rating goes to the night shift who was nice enough to not charge me for the two drink I gotten which came out to be like $5 or so, But the night ended well, there was a MCDONALD'S down the road that...
