I think the reviews are fake tbh . This was my second time eating here and I will not be returning ever again. The cashier/ waitress got upset because I asked to see the food before purchasing. The menu is inaccurate, it say 6.50 for rib sandwich but when I got to the register it was 8.00. the ribs were cold and smelled/ tasted like lighter fluid and made mines and my co worker stomach hurt. Charged .40 to use my debit card without telling us and just added it on. The cashier threw the food on the counter and walked off , I guess she was still mad because we asked to many questions but we still paid for the food and it took everything in me not to take that food back and ask for my money but I have a feeling it would've just made things worse. My first time here and it gave me that old time feeling.. I knew when I closed my car door and was happily greeted before even stepping towards the building, it would be a great experience.. Had a great short conversation before entering the building..The atmosphere and staff were genuinely inviting....Now, the food....OMG, Everything was 🎯🎯🎯, I can't find anything at all to complain about....The portions are well worth the prices...Pulled pork, hash and rice, macaroni and cheese, the pound cake....Damn, even the lemon lime drink was all fantastic..!!!! Seriously folks, if you’re wanting the best chopped pork & hash the area has to offer, this place is it. The meat is unbelievably juicy, perfectly smoked and basted ever so righteously in ACV. Their sides are pretty standard, mine being potato salad & mac and cheese. The mango lemonade is truly outstanding. The price was a huge delight for the amount of meat served. Everyone was very friendly & once done I spoke to the pit masters. They mentioned they’ve been offered money to sell their hash recipe by other BBQ joints and it’s easy to see why- they have the secret to the best BBQ...
