Waffle House — Restaurant in Augusta

I called in an order for a single waffle while shopping in the dollar tree which is in the same parking lot as this Waffle House location. The employee took my order with my name and stated it would be a few minutes before the waffle would be ready. 20 minutes later I arrived inside the establishment the employee had no idea or reference for my order and said it would be a few more minutes before it would be ready. I Waited for another 15 minutes only for the waffle to be thrown by the cash register with no name or order to reference and the line was continuously growing. I walked out and left without even getting my waffle and it’s safe to say the lady’ taking the orders are overwhelmed unorganized and clearly need more help. The system here needs to be reevaluated they all seemed confused when taking orders over the phone and trying to wait on people that walked in. I'm 63 years old, and I've eaten at a lot of waffle houses through the years. But I must say by far, this is the best tasting waffle house food I have ever had. I don't care what you say. Now I feel bad for not tipping. I always, always, always tip servers. This was the first time I didn't. But when the young man told me there was no military discount for to go orders, I discreetly became disappointed with this location being right at Fort Gordon's Gate. But when I got home and devoured the feast, I felt like an a#$%ho$le. My impatience in not trying the product before becoming disappointed. This waffle house location rocks. I will definitely try to correct my dumb mistake in not tipping during my next visit. Management has this team real winners. 4/20/2024 11:15 am....

The Atmosphere was horrible the employees were all talking,Dancing,laughing so Loud couldn’t hear anything my son was trying to talk to me about the music was blasting and this one employee started yelling like it was her song and it just didn’t seem restaurant friendly it was loud and obnoxious and they seemed so distracted on themselves that we were waiting on bacon for like 15 minutes and then I had to ask for it and it was just sitting there not coming back here the employee are more focused on there conversations then the guest orders so disrespectful to the guest that are paying money to have a meal and enjoy it with the family...
