On 2/19/2020 at approximately 6:20p.m. on our way home, my daughter and I stopped at Qdoba’s store # 2065 on Peoria and Illiff. We ordered one chicken burrito and one steak burrito. The order that I received was two kid’s meals. I called the store and explained that we got the wrong order. The African American woman on the phone stated, “You grabbed the wrong order.” I explained, I was handed the order. She said “bring the food and your receipt back to the store and I will give you your order. I said it's snowing, you are far away from me and for the inconvenience I need you to comp this order. She said, “I will give you what you ordered.” I asked to speak to the store manager, and she lied and said there wasn't one on duty. I would have to talk to a store manager in the morning. I immediately called the store on Mississippi and Buckley, the one in my neighborhood. I explained what happened to the store manager and he made a phone call to his general store manager and then told me to come in with the receipt and they would replace our order. Once I got there, I explained because of the inconvenience, I needed two free meals. I said, “I don't expect this store to give me the two free meals because it wasn't your fault. Can you work something out with the store on Peoria and Illiff?” He called and spoke with the store manager (on Peoria and Illiff, who now just so happen to be on duty) and explained to her how he replaced our order. He also spoke with his general store manager again and then I was given two free coupons for two free meals to be used within 30 days. I am writing this post because the customer service at the Qdoba's on Peoria and Illiff was not in the best interest of their customers. I would never again spend my money at a place who gave my daughter and I questionable service and would not take responsibility for their actions. The two African American girls who worked that night needs to take some customer service training ASAP. Not only did the Qdoba’s on Buckley and Mississippi replace our order but they took responsibility for another’s store stupidity. Thank you store 2134 (Buckley and Mississippi) for a job well done. Please note, I was forced to pick a star to post...
Read morePlaced an online order tonight, and out of courtesy I place 30 minutes out thinking "it's dinner time they're probably busy". I walk in exactly 30 minute later and walk up to the online pickup counter - I was not addressed in any light for nearly 5 minutes despite minimal customers in line. My online order is sitting face up on the fax untouched (now 35 minutes post order). First lump of confusion hit me here.
Once the two gentlemen realized they dropped the online order ball they begin scrambling my order. I take a few moments to observe the 5+ uncleaned tables - cups, foods, tissues, and napkins scattered across the tables, chairs and the ground. Can I assume this was from lunch?? Sweet, super confused at this point why I'm still standing here.
I get my order and as I'm a patient person I tell the two guys not worry at all. I did appreciate their genuine apology.
Well I'm home now and my burrito is lacking chicken entirely, the queso, and the brown rice request substitute. Now I'm baffled as one of two gentlemen I interacted with was the manager I think, or poor excuse of.
Can we all just head over to Havana in the Garden Shopping area and let this place fizzle out. Good job tonight guys! Please don't keep up the...
Read moreWe’ve gone to this location 3 times in the last 7 months and each time was a disappointment. I waited to leave a review because I hoped it was just an off day but I think that’s just how it is there. Went in today to order 2 quesadillas and chips and queso. Took more than 15 minutes from start to finish and they literally fell apart when I finally got home to eat them. The 2 kids working the front didn’t seem like they’d been properly trained and it doesn’t seem like there is a cohesive system in place of how to work the line/register and you could tell on their faces how confused they were. They were very nice kids though! The woman working the entire back cooking section by herself had to come up and work the register, finish orders and clear screens to try and help because the line was backing up. I worked at a Qdoba in college and I know the overall experience should be faster and more efficient. Whoever that woman was who was cooking and running the line/register deserves a raise because she was basically doing the job of 3 people at once during dinner time. We will more than likely go to a different location even though it’s farther from our house from now on the next time we want Qdoba....
