Señor Chicken Mexican — Restaurant in Aurora

Tried this place twice, and both times were disappointing. My suspicion is that this place is really good at one thing (rotisserie chicken) and I hope that's true, as it's nice to have an independent, local restaurant close by. But it's just not for us.

I think it's important that if an online menu describes an item, it should be either complete, or vague. This managed to look the former, but be the latter. We ordered a smothered chicken burrito, which reads "With chicken or steak, green chile, lettuce, and rice topped with cheese and pico de gallo." No mention of gobs of pinto beans, which my wife dislikes. No mention of sour cream, which is among her least favorite things. It was basically inedible for her, she tried a couple bites and gave up. Other menu items mention these things, so I drew what seemed a reasonable conclusion.

On a more subjective note, the green chile is vinegary and somewhat astringent. Just a matter of taste, but neither of us...

The staff was very friendly and helpful, but honestly this restaurant isn’t anything special. We came for breakfast burritos To-Go and waited a while for them to be made when we just wanted something we could just grab quickly. The burritos were decent size, pretty bland, and pricey for what we received. I wasn’t impressed with the interior and handwritten signs and notes everywhere (unprofessional). There was a paper menu on the counter with handwritten price changes on it, and a stack of menus with original prices on them, so a bit confusing as to what prices actually are. With all the restaurants with amazing food and atmospheres, this place has nothing that makes us want to return. Sad, because we support smaller restaurants and I was really pulling...

Omg this place is amazing… the food I got was so tasty and delicious…this was our first time trying this restaurant and was happy we did. Im always worried that A lot of this nearby Mexican restaurant are not what you expected when it comes to flavor..and this restaurant just got me as a returning customer cuz my bacon breakfast burrito was oh the hook so tasty in flavor and my chicken plate was also delicious the meat so soft and moist (not dry) the rice, beans, salsa and everything is home made 🤩 and it’s not from a CAN…as a Hispanic individual this is a REAL MEXICAN RESTAURANT. 100% I recommend this place. Oohh there aguas are freshly made. IM HAPPY I...
