El Sazon Catracho — Restaurant in Austin

Totally stopped by on a whim 'cause we saw the Honduran food truck. My husband's Honduran, and, since omfort food's a must for our "self-care", baleadas were in order. Now, being of the Mexican variety myself, and in constant search of the best taco (pronounced ta-ko not taa-cou) in Austin, I naturally gravitated to the Mexican food truck across the way. I made a decision to try whatever meats I wanted, and ordered 5. Big mistake! I didn't make it past 2.

I ordered 1 of each, lengua, tripas (crispy), chicharron en chile, al pastor, and campechana (carne con chorizo). And all with handmade corn tortillas. The lengua and triple were perfect! Great food, but a high price for trailer food. Most of the dishes were $10-15. Only two were less than that, and only served in the morning. We ordered food and drinks. The lady gave us our drinks, and we waited about 45 minutes for our food before we inquired on how much longer. Turns out we were charged $10 for 2 drinks and $1 of taxes, but she said she never heard us order food.
