gladwin kitchen — Restaurant in Austin

In true Nigerian fashion I was very last minute in trying to set up a small catered event. I reached out to Gladwins kitchen on Friday around noon asking for her help In getting this done by Sunday!

She was very accommodating and after helping me through my order swiftly got to work making the following dishes for my dinner.

Half tray Egusi, Half tray Efe Half tray jollof rice, Half tray chicken Half tray Puff-puff, Suya ,Meatpie Moimoi, Pounded yam

I arrived on Sunday and she was very accurate for the pick up time. She proudly displayed the tray of chicken and I must say I was truly excited.

The drive home was extremely difficult as my vehicle was filled with the sweet aroma of all of these dishes.

Needless to say her meals were delicious and a hit with my guest!

Very misleading – not a real restaurant! I honestly don’t understand how they’re getting all these positive reviews. I drove 20 minutes to the listed address, expecting a restaurant, but all I found was a regular house 🏠. There’s no signage, no indication of a business—just someone’s home. The ads make it look like an actual restaurant, but it’s clearly not. No details, no setup, nothing that suggests this is a legit dining spot. Feels like false...

Gladwin kitchen definately delivered, I mean the egusi, Pepper sauce and Sauteed chicken was everything and more. As a houston home caterer myself who came to Austin with family for a getaway, I didn't want to cook at all. So I went online searching for a great star review restaurant, but she had the best and was homemade so I had to call her. NO REGRET WHATSOEVER. MIGHT ORDER MORE BEFORE WE LEAVE AUSTIN.
