Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Austin

Horrible experience here. I waited in a long line to get my order and since it was taking forever I went ahead and ordered online. When I got to the window the woman told me I had to wait until my order pickup time. I sat for ten minutes while everyone else was served. I was picking up drinks in a rush and at this point I had been waiting for too long and had to leave. I went to the window and asked for a refund so I could go. There were 6 employees standing around. My drink was not being made. No one offered to make it. They couldn’t give me a refund and told me to contact customer service who also said they weren’t the appropriate person to give me a refund for my drinks or my tip. So now I’m having to wait to hear from a THIRD party just to get my money back. What is going on with this company if nobody is in a position of power to help...

No microwave?

Coffee is mid, got 2 extra shots for a decent price, staff is nice the gal who took my order was smiley and pleasant. Music is blaring in the serving area pretty loudly kind of a vibe, hard to hear though.

Muffin tops and Granola bars that's the options for food.

I chose the Lemon Poppy muffin top, comes out frozen like a brick and I ask "hey can we heat this up".

Guy behind the counter says "oh we dont have a microwave".

I wouldn't have ordered this refrigerated ice puck if I knew it had to THAW OUT.

This thing has frost on it. I tossed it into the passenger seat with a thud.

Its 2025, I know tariffs have everyone scared but get a microwave. Ownership if you're reading this - figure it out.

I never really go to Dutch Bros but I needed to kill some time so I figured I'd grab a coffee. I stopped by around 9:45AM on Saturday 7 September 2024 (for reference in case management sees this) and the girl outside taking orders was phenomenal. I was unfamiliar with the app so she explained everything (while also being mindful of keeping the line moving) in such a chill and friendly way. Employees make a business, so I hope this location values and treats their team well, especially those that have to stand around outside in the heat while also giving stellar customer service. The seasonal coffee was good enough; nothing great but it's an affordable chain so what do you expect. But what stood out and really made the experience positive was how nice and helpful the girl...
