Hoot and Ole's Tavern — Restaurant in Austin

I feel like you should have a talk with the staff who is working tonight. Absolutely horrible service. My fiancé and I live 3 blocks away and went for a walk to Jim’s after dinner. Went to stop in for a drink knowing we’re young (25&23) and didn’t have ID’s which we knew was a problem. We were told we needed ID to order a drink which was fine and we understood, not trying to fight it at all. They were horribly rude to us making comments and talking shit behind our backs to the bar guests as we walked out. Rude and sarcastic when all we did was ask and walk right out. We would absolutely never come into this bar knowing this is how you treat people here. I’ve lived in Austin my whole life and have drank here before. But having someone be so condescending directly to our faces and then make fun of us for coming to a bar without ID as we’re walking out...

The place was pretty popular on a Saturday afternoon - a couple dozen or so patrons in there having a good time. Someone won a large pull tab and was buying a large amount of drinks for the bar.
