Taco Hot — Restaurant in Austin

I’ve always loved this food truck. However, after tonight I was truly hurt and will not be back :(! The tried to charge me approximately $60 when I ordered 3 of their $15 special taco plates. Although I didn’t speak español, I told them as best as I could that it’s never been this high. The young man crossed out my order and made me speak to another woman. I then told her that I only wanted 2 $15 plates of tacos. She proceeded to tell me that the price was $64!!!!! FREAKING INSANE!!! She put someone on the phone who spoke English and the girl went along with it saying that it’s because of tax!!! I don’t want to say that this was because that I was a non-Hispanic but this truly disappointed me being that I order from them frequently! Be aware, don’t let them...

The food taste great, and they serve quite a bit of meat in all their tacos. I've also had their Torta Hawaiiana that comes with pastor, ham wrapped in melted cheese. It's so good with the bun toasted with butter. I highly recommend this place for a late night stop. Plus, they take credit cards, which is rare for these food...
