Big M Pizza — Restaurant in Avon Lake

Husband called into the number posted on their website. He ordered a vegetarian pizza with cauliflower crust and 2 house salads. The person told him how much it would be ($38) and that it would be 25-30 minutes for delivery. We thought that was pretty high cost for one pizza and some salads but heard good things on the Avon Lake community web page about the cauliflower crust so we thought it was worth the try. After waiting an hour for our delivery, my husband called the very same number he dialed to make the order. The person that answered said he didn’t have a delivery person and wouldn’t have taken an order for delivery. Said we must have called the wrong place. Terrible business practice to have people answering phones that don’t know the status of service available. Will never order from here again. Placed an order with Romeo’s and they had it here...

Went to see Elvis last evening and to have a pizza. As soon as we were seated, the owner came to take our drink order and immediately wanted to take our food order. We barely had to time to look at the menu to order extras, besides the pizza, and he instantly took the menu away. When the pizza came out, it was barely warm (it must have sat for awhile). His facebook page said it was pizza week and to mention the ad to get 10% off. The owner said the discount was for Cuyahoga county only but he would give it to us. When we got our bill, no discount. Also, the pizza was pricey and not worth it. My friend ordered wine which was also pricey ($7.00). We will not be returning, even if the REAL Elvis...

We ordered 2 small pizzas with 2 toppings and cheesy bread. When comparing prices to Doughboys and Antonios they charge a little more. With regards to the sauce, whether someone likes a sauce is a personal preference. My husband prefers more tangy sauce and said it was way too sweet, I also thought it was on the sweet side and our son who likes sweet sauce thought it was ok. My issue with the sauce is that it's over spiced to the point that I couldn't even taste the tomato . The rest of the ingredients on the pizza were perfectly fine. The cheesy bread was very delicious. We will try this place again but not the pizza unless they were to...
