The Quarry — Restaurant in Avon Lake

They weren’t open at 130 on a Sunday. They had the front door locked and the rear door open. We called to see if there was a private event they said no and to come in through the back door bc they were running behind to open. We get in they were serving one customer... we asked for the Sunday special because its the literal reason we came in and were rudely told they didn’t have it...no explanation or apology just no not today. (Hands on hips and attitude for days) We weren’t given any different suggestions so when we requested margaritas the blonde woman again was very rude and upset that we asked for that drink. I have been to the Quarry before... It is under new owners now and we wanted to give it a try. The owners are nice people... but we were a little disappointed with our food. We sat at the bar and my food arrived on a paper plate. The food on my plate was a total disappointment. My husband said that his burger was good but nothing else on his plate was exceptable. Our bill was WAY over priced for what we were served... We could have eaten five minutes away and paid the same amount for food that was deserving of the price that we paid. We probably will come back again... For the music......

Yesterday in the 5 oclock hour, my wife and I decided to try the Quarry, so we ventured inside. At this time, there were only 5 to 6 people in the place and they were all sitting at the bar. My wife and I decided to sit at a table instead. We sat for at least 10 minutes and weren't even acknowledge by the bartender who was playing on her phone. When a customer arrived from the rear door and got served immedately, we decided to leave. Looked like a great place with a wonderful front patio. They'll never get my money or even a kind word!
