China Wok — Restaurant in Avon Park

So I have had a rude Encounter with the lady of this place twice now. It was my first time in. I order over the phone she was very rude when I went to pick up the food she asked me if I wanted any sauce I asked if they had yum yum sauce there and she told me that yum yum was Japanese so I apologized and she kept repeating it too me. Now this time I order over the phone chicken chow mein noodles and shrimp and broccoli when I got there I paid for it and said thank you. When I got too my car it wasn’t what we order so I went back inside and asked nicely if we were given the wrong order and she started screaming at me telling me it was my fault so I apologized and asked to reorder and she kept yelling at me saying chow mein isn’t noodles so I said well can I just reorder and she kept telling me I was never allowed back to order at the other one. They had the door open and my boyfriend was in the car with the windows down and heard her yelling at me and since I am such a nice person I don’t ever get rude back so he got out of the car too see what the problem was.When he came in she stopped screaming at me but still said we needed to order at the other one too never come back. There was one more couple in there and they walked out and said “wow”. I will NEVER go back here ever. If I hadn’t already paid for my food I would have went somewhere else. There is no way if I owe dd a business I would SCREAM at a customer who isn’t even being rude...

I have had a couple Bad experiences at this restaurant. First the Gooey soy flavored like sauce they put in the chicken and broccoli or shrimp with broccoli is always cold and jelly like. I usually buy their shrimp lo mein and it is usually OK. Most of the time they messed up our order. But last night I was very disappointed because I ordered chicken and shrimp lo mein and I got chicken and shrimp rice I didn't discover the mistake until I got home when I poured the contents into a plate, I try to take a bite out of the shrimp and it smelled worse than dead fish by the sea shore! I was appalled by the horrendous stench of their rotten shrimp mixed with the cake looking rice. Needless to say I completely lost my appetite. I was starving and still tried the vegetable roll and not even that would leave a good taste on my buds. I have been a customer at this restaurant since the previous owners a couple years ago and they delivered excellent service. This restaurant however will no longer have to worry about me....

GO TO YUMS!! All of this food is going to waste, in the trash! If I could leave zero stars, I would. My husband ordered one of his usual favorites (not from here), boneless spareribs. We called ahead for takeout. He walked in, stated he was there to pickup and the employee walks away to retrieve his order. While he’s waiting, he picks up a magazine that was on the counter and begins flipping through to pass the time. The employee comes back, literally snatched the magazine from him, closes it and flips it over. My husband being the kind hearted person he is, just stands there stunned. He signs the receipt, takes his order and leaves. While he’s there waiting, another customer begins speaking rudely to my husband but that’s another story. We get home, he begins eating his supper and gives me a piece to try. The meat is old and rancid. He was just going to drowned it in sauce so it was tolerable, I told him no way! Do not eat that! I will NEVER spend one more of my hard earned dollars here!! We’ll go to...
