11/16/2024 I would give this bar negative stars if possible. My family and I were in the area for a wedding and between the ceremony and reception we decided to stop at Legends to hangout. Despite the fact that as soon as you walk in the smell of cigarette smoke hits you in the face, we decided to stay and play darts. My sister went up to the bar to place a drink order for a handful of us and placed an order for fries. In that order, there were 3 alcoholic beverages, a water, and a Shirley Temple. Upon receiving that order my 13 year old expressed that her Shirley Temple tasted weird so I took a drink of it, and to my surprise there was the taste of Vodka. I had then expressed my concerns to my sister and cousin, who also tried it, and agreed that there was absolutely Vodka in it. My cousin then took the Shirley Temple back up to the bar and asked the bartender if it had contained Vodka, and the bartender told her it did. She then explained to the bartender that this beverage was for an underaged person in our party and that there was also a chip in the glass. The bartender then proceeded to have a major attitude and told us she couldn’t be in there with us. Mind you, there are no signs anywhere stating that a minor can not be accompanied by an adult. She came to our table and asked for ids, once she got to my 13 year old daughter, she told her she had to leave in the rudest and most disrespectful way. As if she’s just going to walk out by herself. She never apologized for the mistake SHE MADE in serving a minor, all we got was an attitude.
I highly recommend finding another place to spend your...
Read moreUnfair treatment – kicked out over something that wasn’t mine.
Visited a friend for vacation and had such a great time playing pool that we came back that night for a rematch. When I walked in, I was digging through my purse for my ID, found it, and stopped briefly near the entrance by the people dancing to put things back in. While doing that, I noticed a small liquor bottle on the floor — strange, but I didn’t think much of it. My friend noticed it too, and we carried on.
We grabbed a couple beers, sat down, and were having a great time waiting for a pool table when a man came over holding the bottle we had seen on the floor, saying I was being kicked out because it had “fallen out of my purse.” I was shocked — that absolutely didn’t happen. I don’t drink that (I am in my 40’s and admittedly have a very small bucket of things I can drink due to allergies) which would not have mattered to them, I was stunned. I’ve never been kicked out of a bar before. I asked to see the footage they claimed to have, but was told, “We don’t have to show you anything.” Just repeated “You’re out.”
There was no discussion, no chance to defend myself, and no willingness to consider that it might have come from someone else (like the large group of people dancing we passed on the way in). If they think you did something wrong — even if you didn’t — you’re done. No questions asked. You’re treated like a criminal.
Really disappointing way to be treated, especially as someone who was genuinely just there to enjoy a couple beers and a game of pool with...
Read moreWould not recommend if you want to play music on their TouchTunes. My husband and I only get date nights about once a month. We usually drive the 40 min to Avon to play pool because we enjoy the atmosphere. But tonight after the football game once music was finally turned back on we played a few songs. Well the bartender apparently didn't want to hear what we had paid for so she kept skipping every song we played. I've been in the industry for 20 years and I can't understand why a bartender would skip song after song, especially since there were only 10 people in the whole bar. She would have gotten a tip too but since our money was waisted on the music we didn't get to listen to I decided to just skip her tip also. Edited to add: i do understand how touchtunes work, like I said been in the industry a very long time. We prioritize 1 song because she had skipped our 1st song Twisted transistor. She then skipped a song we didnt play. Then skipped 3 lonely island songs in a row. We had 11 songs in que, had already played 7 games of pool and had some snacks. Also she had my name for the tab. If she would have looked at the name of who played the songs it was very obvious because it was my name. I will not delete this because you want to bully me into it. I don't review places often as you can tell. Let thus just be a lesson on good customer...
