I am a brand new resident in Baker City and was very excited to drive by and see Paizano's Pizza as it advertised fired grilled pizza (my favorite). I was not let down at all last night. I was so excited to try many things my first night on their menu, I loved and enjoyed the freshly baked artichoke and spinach cheese dip (very generous servings!), breaded ravioli (delicious with marinara sauce) and 2 large custom pizzas. I loved the roasted garlic with green peppers, kalamata olives & pepperoni. They excelled in quality, flavor and portions. I'm so very glad to have a fantastic pizza place in my new home. I have a craving for good pizza at least once a month. I would only suggest changing the mushrooms to fresh thinly sliced, they bake on top with more flavor and a texture palatable to most (in my opinion). Most important, the cashier was super friendly and helpful. She helped me decide on my toppings. She was warm, friendly and ensured I knew if I had any questions, she would be happy to help. I was able to get my order in, go shopping for wine, and my full order was piping hot ready to take home! But it doesn't stop there, they have mad pizza-making skills. And the Giant Cheese Breadsticks really are "all that". We flew in from ID and grabbed some lunch, intending to bring some home to the family, and we had to order more breadsticks before we left because we ate them all. We couldn't go home without the breadsticks! And neither should you. The food is amazing, and the service is excellent. Normally under these conditions only tacos or a pie can take the pain of inconvenience away. Unfortunately my mobile base is not seaworthy and they do not sail. A barter with a fellow privateer & I had me a PIE. That as you can see was made by a hero. A pizza can be made by a machine or institution that caters to masses. But in Baker City this is one of the places a single man can order a pizza made from scratch. The other place is downtown.
Side note. They make pizza by the slice and they’re 100% customizable.
