Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Bakersfield

I went through the drive-thru and ordered a Mile High Bacon Six Dollar Burger combo and got a western burger. Just a basic, plain western burger. It was during my lunch break and did not have time to have the order corrected because I went to the bank prior to my visit to Carl's. I went to the website and complained because my order is always getting messed up at this location. I was told that I could go back and simply provide my name and get any combo that I wanted for free.

So I go back and order the same exact meal. I tell them my name and they act like they've never heard it before. They finally give me the meal free and I check it right there at the window and it's a chicken sandwich this time. I told them to keep it and this is why I was getting a free meal in the first place! They have a sticker on the bag that says they double check the meal yet they can't get anything right?!?!?! I sent emails for the next couple days asking for someone in corporate to call me so I could tell them what happened. I informed them that I won't be eating at any Carl's Jr again and I haven't since. I also looked up their affiliations and will not do business with any of them as well.

Stay away from this place. They hire stupid people and stupid people should not be...

Carl's Jr used to be one of my favorite places on earth. I would always go here to get the Teriyaki burger, the chilly fries, or the zucchini. It's been a few years, and I thought "It's probably as good as I remember it."

You know what they did to this menu? They butchered it left right and center. Gone is the Teriyaki Burger with the grilled pineapple and delicious sauce. Gone is the hot fries you'd dip your milkshake in or apply mayo to.

The inside of the restaurant was nice. It wasn't overcrowded, and the service was fast considering the cashier was new. However, they did not explain me and my girlfriend's burger correctly when we asked. (It had cheese, which we were not aware of. I have lactose intolerance and my girlfriend simply doesn't like cheese.)

The fries were cold and unsalted, the burger was cold, and the menu is expensive. The ingredients themselves such as the hamburger, lettuce and onions were top notch, very fresh. But the preparation was the issue. I paid 1 79 for fried zucchini (On sale btw, not worth full value.) and it was soggy, but was the only good thing out of the experience because at least that was hot.

Overall, I would rather eat anywhere else on the planet. Buy a hamburger at a gas station before you consider...

Franchise is so horrible had a very bad experience my little girl child came in to use the restroom I told her I will park the car because she had to use the restroom it was an emergency they didn't even ask my daughter if she was going to order something oh where is your parent my daughter ran back in the car I came out when inside the store and I told him how can you refuse a little child to use the restroom is not a grown person you did not ask her where is her parents it is the parents going to order food I order food and they asked me if my daughter wanted to use the restroom my daughter did not want to get out of the car she was crying she did not get to use the restroom it's horrible been too many fast food restaurants and many Carl's jr.
