Toasted — Restaurant in Bakersfield

Today My friends and I decided to go and celebrate my birthday there for brunch. Our experience there today was completely unacceptable due to our waitress YVETTE was so rude she ruined my birthday brunch and she straight up tried to tip herself off of my friend who paid my part for my birthday. The messed up thing is she was rude to us the whole time she would roll her eyes when my friends ordered, not bringing either one of my friends water when they repeatedly asked(she eventually brought one water). We were still nice to her the whole time because we didn't want to ruin our own time there. What makes me sick tho is my friend always tips and tips good she would have left more than what her expected change was but the waitress took it upon herself to just keep the money when she knows she didn't deserve it. She just left us sitting there while she chatted up with her coworkers until my friend had to ask for her change and that was a whole situation in itself because after she gave my friend her incorrect change she stood there waiting for a tip when she had already got one from my other friend. It was a mess and when I was walking out another of her coworkers kept asking if I forgot something indicating a tip! If the owner is reading this watch the cameras you can clearly see me going back to the table because I thought he was saying I forgot my phone or something and I went to look and said no I didn't forget anything while going back out he said again are you sure?? in a condescending attitude. Have been here several times since it opened because it is very near my home. In the beginning everything was great: service, food, wait time. However quality has definitely deteriorated since their opening. Today has been the worst ever. I’m not going to mention every detail about what happened today or other days. But the cherry on top of an irritating visit here was when the girl who usually seats us was our waitress. We were being friendly and respectful as I’ve worked in customer service before and know how it is. This girl NEVER smiles even when people go out of their way to be nice to her she always has a straight face, no personality and thats fine but if you hate working there find another job. Today she walked away from me as I was still ordering, and still forgot to bring me a water until I reminded her again and then she took like 10 min to bring it. My friend never got the water she asked for. She was rushing us but couldn’t even keep up with herself. I then gave her cash to pay for my food and she never brought me my change. I waited like 20 min and when I saw she was just sitting down Chit chatting with her coworkers I reminded her about my change. It wasn’t much change just a few bucks which I would have just told her to keep but when she brought me the change (which was still incorrect) She then asked in an aggressive tone “AnYtHiNg ElSe?” And I wanted to say “yeah the correct change” but I was so over it I just walked out. I've come to Toasted a handful of times when I come into town when coming from Arizona. Today, like always we made our trip to Toasted and I'm excited because I love this place always great service and food, so naturally I'm thinking today is no exception. We were sat pretty quickly which wasn't an issue then go drinks very timely, again not the issue. After we ordered it took about 45 minutes to an hour to even get our food - which started the train of issues from there on out as it wasn't even that busy. Then when it was time to go we asked for five boxes - that was another at least 30 minute wait and the check process was just all around horrible. We tried multiple times to get other people's attention and it seem like we could only get the busser's attention who was very nice and caring to helping us leave the restaurant. We even tried to get a male manager attentions and he seemed to walk back and just not care and carry on conversations with people rather than checking on customers with the seeming part of being short staffed or helping your staff.
