Wok It Out — Restaurant in Bakersfield

So we been coming here for years!! And today 08-03-2025 @3:20 and for the first time we went and litterly waited 40 min for our by 4:10pm for our food it’s not even a restaurant and the lady I guess she is new. She is Asian and we saw her using no gloves putting her hands inside the bin to restock the foods area and Kuz she dirtied her fingers she licked them and continued to handle the pans to with the licked fingers. And also the lady had no good communication if she had lots of orders or anything like that we wouldn’t waited that long either. Ewww ewww thinking of her licked fingers touching inside the food are is so nasty!!! never again sucks us being loyal customers for years!! Years!!! and having the new lady work there being so dirty and took forever too. For the first time ever too sucks :/ and it was...

Went around 1:45...the service was okay..nothing exceptional. They offered a sample so I tried the orange chicken it was dry and bland...So I passed on that and got beef & broccoli for an entrée and chow mein only..I also ordered their sides just to say I tried it...the broccoli was WAAYYY over cooked & soggy I couldnt get it to stop sliding off my fork...and the noodles were so bland I went to reach for Soy sauce but they didnt give us any (guess it was a grab it for yourself)...I got pot stickers (frozen one's from Costco taste better) but they didnt give me the sauce...foil wrapped chicken was also bland the juices that came out the foil were soooo watered-down....I'd rather eat @...

Ever since I was introduced to this place 4 years ago, I have been a very happy customer. The employees are very nice. The owner is a very hard working, gentle and firm man. Sometimes there are specials he offers when you buy a certain amount of plates: love it because we are a big family. Food quality you can see, cooks are present and visible as you order your food. Smells amazing every time I go in. My favorite 2 items that I always have to have is the coconut shrimp and the house special green beans. Ooouf so yummy 🤤.
