Super bummed about this one. This was our 3rd time here and have had a good amount of their beers. On this last visit, we ordered the honey wheat and berry weiss. We made a comment to the person serving us that both of our beers tasted strongly of plastic. There were no other discernible flavors. Our server apologized, said my beer was the last of the keg and offered that as a possibility for the off taste but wasn’t sure why our other beer would taste off. Our server was extremely gaslighty, suggesting that we just have to try enough beers to find something we like. They were otherwise kind so I attempted to politely let them know that i am a big beer drinker and know for a fact there’s something wrong with these beers. They offered to take our beers off our bill so we tried something else. They removed my wife’s drink from the table but left mine. I tried the pops porter and my wife got the shandy I believe. These drinks were ok. My porter, however, was not served in a beer glass which I thought was strange. I understand that the porters are served in smaller glasses due to the alcohol content, but I was still expecting a beer glass.

We ordered a dip that was described on the menu as coming with chips and bread but we didn’t receive any bread. Also, the dip was cold. At this point, we felt like we’d complained enough so we just finished our dip and drinks and paid. When we received our bill, I noticed that only one of the off tasting beers had been taken off the tab. The one that was never taken away from our table wasn’t taken off. Then it kind of made sense that perhaps our server just forgot about it but still kind of strange that they forgot? Again, in the spirit of not trying to be a complainer, I went ahead and just drank the beer. It was terrible but hey, I was young once and forced to drink steel reserves to get a buzz.

I asked if they had stickers that I could purchase. Didn’t receive a sticker. Didn’t get charged for one either so I guess that’s a plus. There was also a service charge included on our bill.

I’m super disappointed. I understand that things happen, and I can be a very forgiving customer, but it was just so many issues with our beer, food, service and dismissiveness around the off flavored beers, and the cherry on top with the service fee (separate...

Across the Board this place.....Not So Good. I like to think I write fairly accurate reviews and absolutely do not like being blatantly honest, especially when is in a negative way, but here we go. I visited this "Brewery" with a group of brewing friends, Homebrewers and Pros this weekend. Some, including myself, own our own brewies around Kansas. We were all there for the annual Maple Leaf Festival, which was great in and of itself. However this Brewery, in not just my opinion but that of the entire group, was not so great. In fact, in the words of the others brewer's it was rancid, not palatable, very strong off flavors and chemical tasting beer notes, and all around just not drinkable. The concept of the place is great, nice building overall but the service all was horrid.....and you have 6 bartenders behind the counter! I would highly highly recommend you work on your brews and brewing skills. Make sure your starsan and PBW are completely washed out of your lines and kegs and for real work on your process. I'm not sure if your not scaling up correctly, your efficiency is off or the flavor profiles just dont mix when your creating brews, or all the above. Overall it needs WORK. 3/30/2023. It was a Sat. night@7pm. It was beautiful out so we sat on patio. It wasn't busy & probably took 30 mins to get a order of fish & chips. 2 small pieces of fish that were very greasy, it was golden brown but the batter was gooey on inside & very greasy. Like the oil wasn't hot enough when they put it in & it soaked into the batter. Plus our fries were cold. We had to ask for fresh fries. They brought our food but no silverware, napkins, ketsup, salt. I was just not impressed with anything. Our service wasn't even that great, l had to get her attention for what we needed. The price was high for what we got 14.95 & it was gross. We ordered 2 beers that came in a can, so asked for a cool frosty mug, they didn't have any. Imagine that a beer company & no frosted mugs? There was also a girl sitting on patio with a hugh dog, l thought was kind of gross & weird. He was very well behaved but it was still weird. Needless to say it was not a great experience nor wld l recommend anyone to eat there. We had asked someone walking where to eat & that's was one they sd. But l wld not refer it to anyone.
