I absolutely had the worst experience I have ever had at a fast food restaurant. I visited the Baldwin Park Store #1274, Today 4-1-2022 at 12:01pm. I had ordered lunch via the drive thru for me and my family. Everything was going smoothly until I pulled into the lot to check my order. I was missing the Cheddar Quesadilla from my order. I pulled back into the drive thru. I told them at the speaker and they said to pull up. Once I waited for the vehicle in front of me to move I pulled to the window. I told them what was going on that I was missing an item. The employee at the window then accused me of lying as she stated she packed the bag stating it must be in there. I said its not and offered to hand her the bag back as I checked it thoroughly. She then turned away and then turned back stating the same, I again offered the bag for her to check. Then from what I believe was the manager on duty approached the window and accused me of lying as well. The manager then stated she was the one who packed the bag. At this time I proceeded to place the bag of food on the drive thru window ledge for them to check as I have no reason to lie over $4 in food. After her digging thru the bag twice then stating there was a second bag. She then back tracked stating ok ok its not in there ill get you one and handed the bag back, about 1 minute later handed me the missing item in a new bag. I felt I was being accused of lying over food as I am person of size. Theres no reason for me to lie over food. The first employee also had Acylic nails which is against CA Code 113973 without gloves with a mask that didnt cover her nose and almost didnt cover her mouth which i saw her adjust many times by grabbing the front of it and adjusting it nearly 5 times in the short time i was...
Read moreThis is the worst Del Taco location I have ever visited! The drive thru staff are very rude and incompetent. Don’t go here if you’re expecting decent service. They gave us attitude when we asked why the dining room doors were closed despite it being past 10 AM, which is when they’re supposedly open. They asked us to park to wait for our order. We waited for half an hour. My brother-in-law knocked at one of their doors, which the staff member who had charged us at the window and asked us to park completely ignored even though he was sitting a couple of feet by the door. He called out that they were closed. It was almost 11 AM! We drove through the drive thru again and lo and behold, our order was sitting there bagged and waiting for us. The guy at the window lied and said he had just arrived and pretended to not know anything even though he literally gave us our drinks the first time. He said he couldn’t give us staff names and he blamed the cook (“stupid lady”) for the delay. He also couldn’t explain why their dining room doors are closed. They also got our orders wrong and our food was cold. It’s crazy that a huge corporation like Del Taco can have such horrible service like this.
Edit: A previous review from 6 months ago included a photo of a rude staff member and mentioned his name is Daniel. That is the same person who charged us, gave attitude about their dining hours and ignored us at the door. How is he still...
