El Appetiz — Restaurant in Baldwin Park

This is the most overpriced restaurant in that city, it sucked so much i had to leave this review, the only reason I tried this place was because of the good reviews on here. I wasted $29.39 for a "grilled flank steak ranchero" for $13.95 and "chicken parmigiana" for $12.95, the steak ranchero was a small piece of meat, the plate was mostly sliced cucumbers (the cheapest vegetable there is) and a pretty small amount of meat made to look like a lot since it was covered with tomatoes and sliced carrots, IT WAS DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT COMING HERE THIS PLACE SUCKS!! The food quality is a 2 on a scale of 1-5, the amount of food they give you is 1, overall THIS PLACE IS TOO OVERPRICED $29.39 for a lunch for 2?! Dam I'M DEFINITELY NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN THIS...

Great little place. I never been there before, first off great customer service I was taken care of as soon as I walked in the door. I wish I would have asked the name of the person who took care of me. Anyway I was given a menu decided to eat a steak sandwich, Now I'm sure I'm not the only person to eat a steak sandwich, only to be disappointed by the Buble gum type of meat that they use full of fat. This was not the case, the sandwich was great from the type of bun to the meat, it was delicious the meet was good quality and didn't taste weird and it wasn't rubbery.a great place, definitely will go again and try something else. While planning my wedding, we came here for a taste testing. They were polite, fun, generous, and overall a delight to be with. Additionally, they worked out affordable prices and the food was some of the most exquisite Italian food I've ever had. They said that the only reason they own a freezer is for their French Fries, which was added to the menu by popular demand.

Every dish seemed to have some special twist or change to the norm, curated by the owner, that only aided in enhancing the already amazing flavors.
