Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Baldwin

I will NEVER stop here again. I had began to stop here regularly on the way into the city and order 4 sausages (sausage only) and a breakfast bowl, with an occasional beverage (FYI I received a watery, soupy, thin shake every time I have ordered one). I politely asked at the drive thru for 4 sausages, specifying sausage only. Now either there are listening skill lacking, lack of training, knowledge or all three. The cost was about $25. Immediately that was incorrect, asked upon reaching the window, the heavyset woman at the window said yes, took payment and handed a receipt with 4 sausage biscuits on it that said sausage only but had rang them up as the sandwiches. What in the stupidity is that if ever I’ve seen it. We inquire with her is it sausage only why is it the same price as the sausage biscuit sandwich. She calls, I believe Jessica who comes over also and they both have stupid looks on their faces. At that point we look in the bag to see four sausage biscuits, & when we attempted to eat them in disgust they were not even fresh! This was about 30min after 8am. Make it make sense. We just said don’t worry about it and drove off....

When we got here the lady behind the counter looked like she was annoyed we interrupted her hanging out time. I ordered a medium fry and a cupcake ice cream. They didn't have cupcake ice creams and my husband asked if I wanted anything else. I said no. He ordered I sat down. Then I realized I forgot to get a drink. He went back to the counter to order me a medium drink and they charged me for a medium but they gave us a small cup. The lady behind him ordered a medium and got a medium cup. When our food got ready they told my husband to get it but his hands were full so he told them he would come back for it. When he sat down with the food we noticed they did not include my medium fry. We looked at the receipt and saw they didn't even ring it up. My husband offered to get me one but I told him it was ok I wasn't all that hungry and I don't want to give them any more money. As we were eating we noticed some other people getting their food taken to them instead of just being shoved across the counter at them. The burger he got was good but the fries were lukewarm at best and stone cold by the time he was half way...

I don't know what it is with the Dairy Queen's up here but none of them put lids on the blizzards. If you order 2 or more blizzards, you pull up to the window and there is only one person in the vehicle, it should be clear that all of those blizzards are not for that 1 person. Therefore they will be driving those blizzards home. That means that those blizzards will melt a little bit. It should be common sense to put a lid on it. The lady Put the spoons in the blizzards before handing them out to me. When she handed them out the window I asked for lids because I live 20 minutes away. Instead of taking the spoons out then putting a lid on and handing me new spoons, she squashes the spoons down into the ice cream. Not to mention ice cream was all over the cups and had to be wiped off. It needs to be a normal thing for lids to be put on the blizzards. Use your head.
