The food was pretty good and with the great prices they have, I'd say this place is a hidden gem!!

I was looking for a new place to take my client for lunch and found this place on Google Maps. The place is located in a quiet, cozy part of the Southside. No one greeted me and my client when we walked in, but I let it go because they were obviously busy. This gave us time to look over the menu anyways. The staff was very friendly and they all worked as a team!!

Our order was done quickly and the ingredients they used were noticeably fresh!! The only thing I was a little thrown off about was the calzone that I ordered. It taste more like a steak wedge than a calzone. If there was any ricotta or sauce on it, I couldn't taste it at all. I was able to get through to order food and the process went great. Very friendly and no spoken issues. I see the reviews and wanted to give it a try, but after paying and adding a 20% tip to my order it was refunded and they reached out to say that they do not deliver to my area. Which is 2 miles away 🤨 with the one line to reach this place I’m getting olden times vibes from this shop. The younger women taking my order didn’t mention anything about where I stayed which is right off of Brownsville road and 51. But the lady in charge 👀 had the final say. I had people in the pass that would still deliver it and just tell me “for future reference we don’t serve this area but we still value you as a customer. Had an issue with employee when called around thanksgiving 🦃. Rude when called the shop but no food order placed at the time. Made the mistake of calling to order today. Rang longer than expected thought closed. When fella answer placed order for 2 salads and cheese burger. what goes on salad discussed as well as the toppings for the burger. Said 20 minutes wait. When got there no one else there and just one employee guess fella who took order. Still had to wait longer than expected for no one else there and phone didn't ring while I was there. Used a gift card and had to apply few dollars. Change back was something like 13 cents.
