I have been eating The Pizza Company in South Baldwin for well over a decade. I came here back in the days of Tastee-Freez. Man, I miss those vanilla milkshakes and their amazing soft serve, including the vanilla soft serve dipped in blue goo! I'd get the cheese fries multiple times a month in high school. Fast forward to 32-year-old me...

...I am visiting Pittsburgh for the holidays, and my brother requested that we order some pizzas from here. We ordered a cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza. Glad we did! Their pizza has been INCREDIBLY consistent over the years. It always has a lot of flavor, and the sauce has a nice sweetness. The dough has great taste and a nice texture. There is a slight crisp to the crust, which is great. The three-cheese blend is yummy and flavorful. They are generous with the pepperoni slices, which have great savory taste and a nice crisp. Importantly, the pizza slices have great flop. This is one of the best pizzas in Pittsburgh in my opinion, especially for the price. My only complaint would be that there can be a little extra grease at times--nothing that a little dabbing can't fix!

The worst take out experience I have had in years. No idea what the term customer service means. They gave me the wrong order, then tried to blame me. Then manager me of not paying. Kept trying to blame everything on me or the fact that they have a new worker. But there system of doing things is to blame. They don’t ask who the order is for, then no one knows which order goes to which person when you get there. Has always been this way. Not my fault or the fault of some new worker but of their terrible system. Fortunately, the worker that took my money confronted her manager and told him that He was lying and that I had paid. Don’t go there unless you want...

the pizza is really good, always get the half pepperoni half cheese- one day will have to try a white pizza because I do love white pizzas but it's a hit or miss at every pizza place. I got bread sticks as an app last time and they were good nothing wrong with them but nothing stood out to set them apart so I tried the cheese fries last time and honestly it was the best thing so far and my new go to item. I know people will read this and think "ok.. they are just cheese fries.." but they are the BEST cheese fries I have ever had

think potato patch fries without the $10 price tag, taste exactly like them👍 anyways, will be my go to pizza place...
