China Cafe — Restaurant in Baldwin

They were the only Chinese restaurant that was willing to make large orders for my sons 13th Birthday party. The woman, who is I believe one of the owners, was extremely nice and they were so willing to accommodate my picky eaters. The orders came in half size hotel pans, which I put in chaffing dishes to keep warm at the party. The food was delicious!! Everyone at the party was pleased. Which can be tricky with Chinese food. We ordered a pan of white rice (free) Egg fried rice (it was soooo yummy!) Big chunks of scrambled eggs, perfect amount of onions, carrots and peas. Great color and flavor, it was beautiful. I ordered the General Tso lunch special which was reasonably priced, but highly disappointing today. I've had it several times from here and it's always been good from the portion to the taste, but today I couldn't even finish it. The rice tasted old and didn't even seem fried. Also, there wasn't even one vegetable in it when it's supposed to be vegetable fried rice. There was maybe 6 chunks of chicken and the rest were crumble-like pieces as if they had fried the chicken fat or something. I found a whole ass bug in my food !!!!!! And when we took the food back to the place they had nerve to pitch an attitude with us then went on to say that there was nothing they could do because I apparently ate too much of the food let me just say that no one is going to look through their food to say oh there's a bug in it let me finish eating the food NO !!!!! I was starving at this point in my day and ate in my dark ass room . so this caused me to throw up for the rest of the night....i thank God that I ordered for just myself and not my kiddos.
