CHECK BEFORE YOU GO!!!
Was planning on going to see my friends band play April 8th. My friend sent me a message to check the website because he thought that night was vaccinated people or neg covid test only. Well I checked AND called to verify and he was correct. The person on the phone also said the owner is trying to make it like that for all concerts. Of course it was to late for me to go get a negative covid test (or justify having to pay for it) so unfortunately I was denied entrance and couldn't support my friends band or the venue itself. The frustrating part was I was just there in October and there was no policy in place like this. I'm just wondering why?? Since it's NOW known that all those people in the venue with their vaccine cards (and boosters) could also HAVE covid and spread it I think if you're going to try and make it as "safe" as possible then ALL people need to have a negative test. But I keep forgetting we are not living in a logical world currently. I will encourage my friend and his band to play at a more inclusive place for all people and maybe cut ties with this venue...

I bought one drink. Once my wife and i realized. That, we as paying customers we unable to use the open seats becouse the tables were reserved for a privite party. We went back to the door lady to get our $5 back. I told the door lady. That i had only been there for ten min. The door lady said i was not saying the truth about how long i was there. She then told me with a smart ass tone. That i was there for 20min. Which just was not true. The manager then finaly came. She did give my money back. I also got aditude from her. I hope that the bad aditude was worth it for the ladies. The nerve of some !!!!! I will never go back again...
Read moreThey dont appreciate local musicians. Playing for exposer is the fastest way to lose good musicians from the local music scene. A scene that supplies the life blood of these types of businesses. Terrible look for a "premier venue".
St. Louis has a great local music scene but is being suppressed by businesses that wont pay for the talent coming through their doors. Loopholes to get paid is ridiculous. The time spent practicing, setting up, tearing down and not to mention leaving heart and soul wide open on your stage is worth the pay in and of itself. But to be told you wont be paid until AFTER you have entertained their bar patrons is shameful.
Do not recommend and will no longer spend my dollars with a business that refuses to pay their entertainers a fair wage for their...
