The site is in a less-desirable neighborhood and the building itself is in pretty awful shape. It is constantly flooding and reeks of mildew and rot. The programs there are reliable but the club cannot for the life of itself find reliable coaching that wants to stick around and has a clue how to bring juniors success. The REACH HIGH program advertises a lot but does not follow-through on many of it's promises.
Sadly, as the only location for rowing allowed in Baltimore, the Middle Branch basin is a catastrophe. The water is filthy ND ridden with debris of all sizes. The unprotected nature of the basin also means that training will often be severely impacted by relatively mild weather issues.
