Finally got to try one of the infamous Love Box and Egg Rolls from Chef Rock and it definitely #PickyApproved

📌Customer Service: All orders are over the phone or text. When the representative answered the phone so pleasantly I knew the experience was about to be great. Our order was taken in a reasonable time and quality control of repeating the order was correct. We informed them that our commute was 30 minutes away and they assured us it was fine. 6min before we were about to arrive, we received a courtesy call to let us know that our food was ready, I truly appreciated that.

Crab Cake Egg Rolls: Whew Lawd! I promise I’m not gassing this up I NEED another order. They were super crispy, FULL of nothing but LUMP Meat, and fried to perfection. The aioli sauce comes on the side and tastes immaculate when paired with the egg roll. I mean every bite you had a crunch.

Crack & Lamb: This was my first time having Lamb and MY LORD, it was soooo good. The Lamb had a Honey Jerk sauce to it which was very flavorful. For someone that loves Lamb, you would LOVE them. Next, the crab cake as a true MD girl this tasted great. It’s definitely on the same level as some of the big local restaurants and did I say FULL of LUMP Meat. Sides Included: Mac & Cheese, Yellow Rice and Broccoli

Let’s start by saying the food was mediocre at its best. I brought food for my family of two and even my hubby said it was okay. It was tasteful yes but bland. The sauce was the best part which goes on all the food. If no sauce we are not sure it would be as good. The broccoli was the best thing teriyaki which is hard to mess up for reference the rice was just nasty, and the crab was full of lump crab meat with minimal fillers it was okay but not amazing. Put it this way Captain James crab cake is full of more flavor . The lamb wasn’t as tender as expected nor did it have a lot of meat on the bones. The mac and cheese he said was not the best but it became good with the sauce as well. Lastly the lobster was okay. My hubby said he give his food a solid 7 and I would give mine a solid 5. But it’s worth trying. The chef was patient and kind and will come out to your car to take your meal. So his service was good. Atmosphere was okay as well it’s in the back of Bellona & it’s a kitchen. So you wait in your car for the order to come out. If you are not a local I’m not sure you want to take that ride and wait...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Incredible Meal – Flavor Explosion!

I ordered the 6oz Jumbo Lump Crab Cake (x3) along with the Honey BBQ Jerk Lamb Chops, cheddar mac & cheese, yellow rice, and broccoli — and everything was absolutely amazing!

The crab cakes were packed with jumbo lump meat, not a lot of filler, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to golden perfection. Easily some of the best I’ve had. The lamb chops stole the show though — tender, juicy, and that honey BBQ jerk glaze hit every note: sweet, spicy, and smoky all in one bite. My wife also loved them.

Sides were just as impressive: the cheddar mac & cheese was creamy and rich, the yellow rice was flavorful without being overpowering, and the broccoli was fresh and perfectly cooked for a bit of crunch.
