A family member picked Chase’s for an early dinner, and I was hesitant—I rarely eat out due to frequent disappointment with food and service. The online menu and photos made it seem like another tired forgotten spot. Thankfully, I was completely wrong!
Chase’s is clearly a local favorite. By 4 p.m., it already had a steady flow of customers. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with friendly, attentive servers who chatted comfortably with regulars. Seating was thoughtfully arranged with options for booths, standard tables, and more private area for larger groups.
I ordered the chicken piccata with artichokes and sundried tomatoes (a special that day), and it was delicious. The chicken was perfectly sliced, lightly breaded, moist, and cooked just right. The lemon butter caper sauce had the perfect balance—tangy, rich, with just the right amount of sundried tomatoes and capers.
My family member went with their favorite—fried haddock—and it did not disappoint. Generous portion sizes meant we brought home leftovers to enjoy later. We also shared mozzarella sticks, which were chunky, cheesy, and a cut above the typical finger-sized versions. Clearly, the chef takes pride in both flavor and presentation.
The single-use restrooms were clean and spacious. While there is a tavern in the same building, we didn’t explore it this time.
Don’t let the low-key exterior or online photos fool you—Chase’s is worth the visit. Great food, genuine service, and a local vibe that’s hard to beat. Go...
Read moreI can't say enough good things about Chase's Family Restaurant. We arrived around 6 P.M. and were seated right away. The server took our drink orders and was back in no time with the drinks. We placed our food orders. I ordered the Chicken Marsala, my wife had Chicken Parmesan, one guest ordered the soup and sandwich with fries, and the other ordered Beef Tip Ravioli from the specials menu. The food arrived after an appropriate time period. The food was presented nicely. The portions were on the large side. The flavor was spectacular! Everyone was very happy with their meal. I like to order Cole Slaw the first time I eat at a restaurant. You can tell a lot about the restaurant by their slaw. This was crisp, fresh, and flavorful, with the perfect amount of dressing. We all had coffee. Which was delicious. We shared the Blueberry White Chocolate Cheesecake and a slice of warm Apple Pie. Both of the desserts were exceptional. The entire restaurant was clean and organized. The restrooms were clean and sanitary. Our server was outstanding! She was there when needed and had helpful suggestions. All of the employees were working with a sense of urgency, and they all seemed very happy. We all were very pleased with our meals and will be back again very soon. Thank you for the great service, friendly atmosphere and the...
Read moreMy wife and I we're staying at the Holiday Inn and looking for a place for dinner. Google shows Chase close by and reviewing the menu we thought it would be a good choice. The restaurant was not very busy and we were seated right away. The waitress took our order promptly. My wife ordered the fried fish and fries, I ordered the lasagna. We also orded a onion ring appetizer. Onion rings came right out and that was it! 3 or 4 other customers came in and were seated. While we were still waiting the other tables who came in after us had thier meals delivered, and some were done before ours came out. Waitress came over and asked if we wanted a box for our uneaten onion rings. I said were still waiting on our meals. After 50 minutes our meals came out,, horrible!! My wifes fish was way over cooked, and I have no idea what i was served. I said i waited 50 minutes for that!! I poked my fork in it, never saw a single lasagna noodle, ricotta cheese was cold and un melted, looked like they cut a tomato in half and put cheese on it. I asked that it be removed from the table and my bill. My wife ate 2 bites of the fish. My bill was still $45. Never go back again. Like some of the other reviews we also felt like its a local place and we...
