Ebenezer — Restaurant in Barnegat Township

First time ordering from here. Placed my order for pick-up via Slice app. I had never had or heard of having a choice of baking or frying a calzone, I've only had it baked so naturally my curiosity influenced my choice of having it fried. It wasn't bad, and actually the filling was quite delicious. (I don't know what brand of cheeses they used but it had very good flavor.) I know that I'll order it baked next time. The pizza was also great. It was thoroughly cooked, sauce and cheese very flavorful, crust was good although I prefer a thin crust, and theirs is very similar to Pietro's thickness, I have no complaints. My order was ready within 15 to 20 minutes (I think they actually had to wait for me to arrive lol) and greeted by a lovely young lady with a welcoming genuine smile and another woman also very warm and welcoming. Very gracious and nice people. I would order from them again even if their food sucked because the service alone makes all the difference. They've been in business a short time, less than 5 years I believe but this is the type of place to become one of those legendary neighborhood establishments for sure. I am a driver for a place that rhymes with moor mash and this place has some of the most kind hearted people working here. They have let me try a couple pizzas when it is closing time and as a disclaimer. I HATE Alfredo sauce. Won't eat it. But I tried their Alfredo chicken spinach pizza and OMG it was beyond delicious. Every bite cold or warm was oozing with flavor and texture. I could not believe how much I liked it. Pizza is my favorite food. I've had it in Italy, California, Chicago, Washington state and this one pizza has been the best one by far. As a fat guy I don't say this lightly. So if you are reading reviews trying to decide to try this place or not. Stop reading and order its 100% worth it.

I stopped there to grab a slice of pizza. I didnt get the name of the slice, but It had fried chicken slices, lettuce, and this sweet sauce on top and it was absolutely delicious. The dough was crunchy and flavorful, very good slice.

After a great experience, I got even better customer service after ordering through the app “slices”. Mistakes happen and the driver got lost and the pizza came a little cold, the restaurant reached out themselves and offered a refund. I didn’t complain or nothing and they felt the need to Still give a refund. Meanwhile I STILL enjoyed the pizza and it was delicious. It was half plain and half pineapple and bacon.
