Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Barnstable

We just placed an order and waited an hour an a half, and never received the food. They are doing construction on our road, but they called us, and we told them what road they could take to reach us. The road comes literally right to our house, we take this route twice a day EVERY day, yet we were told the driver was unable to reach us. Then, WE had to call THEM, and were told the road was blocked. I GUARENTEE the driver didn't even try. I can see the road from my front window. It is not blocked. There has been traffic coming in and out of that road ALL DAY. If you REALLY couldn't make it, that's one thing, but to make us wait over an hour to tell us that is absolutely unacceptable. Other restaurants have had zero issues getting us our food. We used to order from here once a week, but this was the last time. It has gone WAY down hill over the past year or so. My elderly father was just cussed at by an aggressive delivery driver who was slamming on our door so hard my father says it sounded like he was trying to break down our door in a threatening manner. We ordered contactless delivery and expected it to be so. The food could have been left anywhere in the breezeway, no prolonged slamming necessary. My partner then drove to the establishment to address such an aggressive and hostile delivery driver, for the owner to be defensive and justify the behavior of his belligerent delivery driver. I went in person to place an order and they messed up my order (missing topics) my house is like 10 minutes far away, when I got home I called to let them know about it and the person that took the phone was the one that prepared the pizza and he was SO SO RUDE telling me to go back and bring the pizza back with no apology for the inconvenience. I was not looking for money back or another pizza but just for you know you need to realize the frustration for a customer with 3 kids to get home and give them the pizza they don't want and plus you got a Rude person that doesn't care about customers.
